- Das Forbidden Plateau (englisch für Verbotene Hochebene) ist ein langes und schmales Hochplateau unweit der Danco-Küste des Grahamlands auf der Antarktischen Halbinsel. Es erstreckt sich von der Charlotte Bay südwestwärts bis zur Flandernbucht. Der Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) kartierte das Plateau anhand von Luftaufnahmen der aus den Jahren von 1956 bis 1957. Das UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee benannte es 1960 so, weil alle Versuche, das Plateau zu erreichen, fehlgeschlagen waren, bis dies 1957 einer Mannschaft des FIDS gelang. (de)
- The Forbidden Plateau (64°47′S 62°05′W / 64.783°S 62.083°W) is a long, narrow plateau extending southwestward from Charlotte Bay to Flandres Bay in Graham Land. It borders Bruce Plateau on the south and Foster Plateau on the north. The feature was mapped by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) from photos taken by Hunting Aerosurveys Ltd. in 1956–57. Its name was picked by the UK Antarctic Place-names Committee (UK-APC) because all attempts to reach the plateau failed until it was finally traversed by Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) members in 1957. - L'altopiano Proibito (in inglese: Forbidden Plateau), centrato alle coordinate 64°47′S 62°05′W / 64.783333°S 62.083333°W , è un altopiano completamente ricoperto dai ghiacci situato nella Terra di Graham, in Antartide, in particolare nell'entroterra della costa di Danco. I confini dell'altopiano, la cui altezza varia tra i 1700 e i 1900 m s.l.m. e che si estende per circa 90 km in direzione nord-est/sud-ovest, sono segnati, a nord, dall'estremità sud-occidentale dell'altopiano di Foster e, a sud, dall'estremità settentrionale dell'. Dai versanti dell'altopiano fluiscono diversi ghiacciai, tra i quali il grande ghiacciaio Jorum, che fluisce verso sud-est ed è alimentato dalle nevi che scendono dal versante centro-orientale dell'altopiano, e i più piccoli Moser e Bagshawe che fluiscono rispettivamente verso ovest e verso nord.
