Fred Carter (birth unknown – death unknown) was an English professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1910s and 1920s. He played at representative level for Yorkshire, and at club level for Leeds (Heritage №), Batley and Castleford (Heritage №), as a wing, second-row or loose forward, i.e. number 2 or 5, 11 or 12, or 13, during the era of contested scrums.
