- Der Goliath Atlas, auch verkauft unter Hansa-Lloyd Atlas, war ein Lkw, der von 1932 bis 1935 in Bremen produziert wurde. Es war nicht der erste, aber ein früher Lastkraftwagen der Goliath Werke. Die Höchstgeschwindigkeit betrug 65 km/h. Er war eine Weiterentwicklung des Goliath K1, der 0,5 t transportieren konnte, und dessen Nachfolger Goliath Express von 1929, der 0,8 t laden konnte und 45 km/h erreichte. Diese Modelle hatten eine offene Fahrerkabine. Das Modell Atlas bekam eine geschlossene Kabine. Wie die Iso Isetta hatte es nur eine Tür auf der Vorderseite. Wegen der festen Lenksäule und der links angeschlagenen Tür musste der Beifahrer zuerst aussteigen. Der Anschaffungspreis lag bei 2450 Reichsmark (entspricht heute etwa 11.300 EUR). It was not the first, but an early one ton freight trucks of the German Goliath Company and it got a closed driver cab. Its top speed was 64 km/h (40 mph). It was an improvement of the 1929 Goliath Express, transporting 0.8 metric tons (0.88 short tons) and up to 50 km/h (31 mph), and its predecessor 1926 Goliath K1, transporting 0.5 metric tons (0.55 short tons), both with open cab. As later microcars like the Isetta or the Zündapp Janus, it had a front door only, to enter the cab. A fixed steering column and a door hinge on the left, required the passenger to exit first.
