- مصطفى العرفاوي (ولد في 27 نوفمبر 1932) هو عضو جزائري سابق في اللجنة الأولمبية الدولية، وكان رئيساً للاتحاد الدولي للسباحة (FINA) من 1988 إلى غاية 24 مارس 2009. وهو أيضاً عضو في اللجنة التنفيذية للوكالة العالمية لمكافحة المنشطات وعضو لجنة التنسيق التابعة لدورة الألعاب الأولمبية 2012 التي أقيمت في لندن. ويرأس الاتحاد الأفريقي للسباحة منذ مدة تزيد عن الثلاثين عاماً. ولد في 1932، وقد كان لاعب كرة ماء (بولو) في سن مبكر. في عام 1962، أي عندما بلغ من العمر 30 عاماً، أسس الاتحاد الجزائري للسباحة، وهو من الأعضاء المؤسسين للجنة الأولمبية الجزائرية التي خدمها كأمين سر حتى عام 1967. مخلصاً للقارة الأفريقية، خدم أيضاً لمدة طويلة كرئيس لاتحاد السباحة الأفريقي للهواة، وتوحد الاتحادات الرياضية الأفريقية. - Mustapha Larfaoui (born 27 November 1932 in Algiers) is a former member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) from Algeria. From 1988 – March 24, 2009 he served as President of FINA, the international federation that oversees Aquatics. He was the first African to hold the FINA presidency. He is now Honorary Life President of FINA. Larfaoui is a member of the World Anti-Doping Agency's executive committee and part of the IOC's Olympic Games study and marketing commission. He is a member of the IOC's evaluation commission for the 2012 Olympic Games. He has been president of the African Swimming Confederation for more than 30 years. A former hospital and public health director, he holds degrees in Arabic and French. (en)

En 2009 Larfaoui se retire définitivement de la FINA étant président d’honneur à vie et membre du comité exécutif. Marié et père de 4 enfants, il a une Licence d'arabe et propédeutique en français.
