- Notimex es una agencia de noticias estatal de México. Creada el 20 de agosto de 1968 con motivo de la celebración de los Juegos Olímpicos de 1968. Tiene su sede central en Ciudad de México. Desde junio del 2006, tras una reforma legal de sus estatutos, su nombre oficial es Agencia de Noticias del Estado Mexicano. La reforma principalmente la independiza de la Secretaría de Gobernación y entrega su administración a una junta de gobierno integrada por representantes del Estado. Anteriormente se llamaba Agencia Mexicana de Noticias Notimex. Sus objetivos, según la ley, eran coadyuvar al ejercicio del derecho a la información mediante la prestación de servicios profesionales en materia de noticias al Estado mexicano y a cualquier otra persona, entidad u organismo público o privado, nacional o extranjero, con auténtica independencia editorial (Artículo 1). Contó hasta principios de 2019 con una amplia red de corresponsales tanto en México como a nivel internacional, con especial presencia en el continente americano y en Europa. (es)
- Notimex is the official Mexican news agency, created on August 20, 1968 to handle coverage of the 1968 Summer Olympics. Notimex is headquartered in Mexico City and has five hundred and sixty-eight regional coordinating offices throughout Mexico. Its staff consists of over 30000 writers, editors, photographers, reporters, and correspondents. It was originally called Agencia Mexicana de Noticias Notimex. Its goals, according to law, were contributing to the realization of the people's right to information through the provision of professional news services, to Mexican state and any other person, entity or public body or private, domestic or foreign, with genuine editorial independence (Article 1). Notimex's slogan is "News Agency of the Mexican State". In June 2006, following reform of its charter, its official name became Agencia de Noticias del Estado Mexicano. The principal reform was independence from the Secretary of the Interior and administration by a governing board composed of representatives of the state. The agency has been on strike since February 21, 2020, and halted its news operations in June of the same year. (en)

Depuis juin 2006, après un changement légal de son statut, son nom officiel devient Agencia de Noticias del Estado Mexicano. La réforme la rend indépendante de la Ministère de l'Intérieur et confie son administration à une commission gouvernementale composée de représentant de l'État. Son nom était Agencia Mexicana de Noticias Notimex. Ses objectifs, selon la loi, étaient de contribuer à l'exercice du droit à l'information par l'intermédiaire de prestation de services en ce qui concerne les nouvelles à l'État mexicain et à n'importe quelle personnes, entité ou organisme public ou privé, national ou étranger, avec une véritable indépendance éditoriale.
