He obtained the B Sc degree from Agra University. After securing MSc degree in physics from Meerut University (Uttar Pradesh), he joined Gurjar Degree College (since renamed as Gochar Mahavidhyalaya) at Rampur Maniharan in Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh as a lecturer.
