Mohamad Rasjidi (May 20, 1915 in Kotagede, Yogyakarta, Indonesia – January 30, 2001) was a Minister of Religious Affairs of Indonesia at the First Sjahrir Cabinet and Second Sjahrir Cabinet.He was a close friend of Alm. When Blockaded under tightened, an Indonesian diplomatic entourage followed the Egyptian diplomatic aircraft which penetrated the Egyptian diplomat out of Indonesia, which headed to Arab countries, this pushed for the Round Table Conference which officially transferred sovereignty of Indonesia. Mohammad Rasjidi (20 Mei 1915 – 30 Januari 2001) adalah Menteri Agama Republik Indonesia yang pertama yang diangkat pada tanggal 3 Januari 1946 berdasarkan maklumat Pemerintah Republik Indonesia tentang berdirinya Kementerian Agama RI. Ia juga merupakan Guru Besar Fakultas Hukum Universitas Indonesia bidang Hukum Islam dan Lembaga-Lembaga Islam, yang diangkat pada 20 April 1968. Ia adalah Ketua Diplomatik RI pertama yang mengikuti utusan diplomat Mesir yang berkunjung ke Ibu kota Yogyakarta pada tahun 1947. Saat Blokade Agresi Militer Belanda diperketat, rombongan diplomat Indonesia menembus dengan mengikuti pesawat diplomat Mesir yang berangkat menuju negara-negara Arab. Maka lahirlah perjanjian-perjanjian dengan Belanda Konferensi Meja Bundar yang diakui oleh dunia Internasional. Rasjidi menegaskan bahwa berdirinya Kementerian Agama bertujuan merealisasikan pasal 28 UUD 1945 tentang asas inklusivitas dan mengakhiri pemecahbelahan umat beragama di Indonesia pada masa Belanda (Het Kantoor voor Indlandsche Zaken, Kantor urusan pribumi Islam) dan Jepang (Shumubu).
