- Robert Clouse (March 6, 1928 – February 4, 1997) was an American film director and producer, known primarily for his work in the action/adventure and martial arts genres. He died on February 4, 1997, in Oregon of kidney failure. Clouse directed Bruce Lee in Lee's second English-speaking film starring role (the other being Marlowe), 1973's Enter the Dragon. After Lee's death, Clouse completed Lee's final film The Game of Death and released it as Game of Death in 1978 with a new storyline and cast. Other projects included Black Belt Jones (1974), Darker than Amber (1970), China O'Brien (1990), Jackie Chan's The Big Brawl (1980), Gymkata (1985), The Ultimate Warrior (1975), among others. (en)

Specjalizował się w akcjach sztuk walki w Hongkongu i stał się najbardziej znany z realizacji Wejścia smoka (1973), w której główną rolę zagrał Bruce Lee. Zanim został reżyserem, Clouse służył w wojsku i był fotografem dla telewizji CBS. W 1963 otrzymał nominację do Oscara za film The Cadillac (1962), do którego napisał scenariusz i wyreżyserował. W 1964 zdobył nagrodę na Festiwalu Filmowym w Edynburgu oraz nominację do Oscara i Złotej Palmy na 18. Festiwalu Filmowym w Cannes za film krótkometrażowy The Legend of Jimmy Blue Eyes (1965). Napisał scenariusz do horroru telewizyjnego CBS Coś złego (Something Evil, 1972) w reżyserii Stevena Spielberga z Sandy Dennis.
