- Rosario González Manalo (Manila, 2 de octubre de 1935) es una diplomática, científica, educadora y escritora filipina que domina el español, el tagalo y el inglés, además de trabajar también en lengua francesa. Ha sido embajadora de Filipinas en numerosos países europeos: Francia, Lituania, Estonia, Suecia, Noruega, Portugal, Bélgica, Dinamarca, Luxemburgo, Finlandia e incluso para la Comunidad Económica Europea y es una de las mujeres más importantes e influyentes del país asiático. She is the Special Representative of the Philippines to the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights and has served as undersecretary of Foreign Affairs in charge of International Economic Relations from 1997 to 2001. Moreover, she has served as Philippine ambassador to Sweden (with concurrent accreditation in Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania), to France (with concurrent accreditation in Portugal), to Belgium (with concurrent accreditation in Luxembourg) and to the European Economic Community.
