- Taito Phillip Hans Field (26 September 1952 – 23 September 2021) was a Samoan-born New Zealand trade unionist and politician. A Member of Parliament (MP) for South Auckland electorates from 1993 to 2008, Field was the first New Zealand MP of Pacific Island descent. He was a minister outside Cabinet in a Labour-led government from 2003 to 2005. Following charges of bribery and perverting the course of justice, Field was defeated in the 2008 New Zealand general election. He was found guilty on some of the charges in August 2009 and was sentenced to six years jail in October 2009. (en)

Od 1996, jako członek Partii Pracy reprezentował dystrykt Mangere w Izbie Reprezentantów. Jego poprzednikiem w Mangere był David Lange. W 2005 Field został oskarżony o wykorzystywanie swojej pozycji politycznej w celu otrzymywania korzyści materialnych. Sprawa sądowa została otwarta w 2007. W międzyczasie Field stracił poparcie Partii Pracy. Opuścił Partie Pracy i założył nową partię, , której został liderem. NZPP wzięła udział w wyborach w 2008 ale Field przegrał w Mangere z nowym kandydatem Partii Pracy, o 7,126 głosów. 24 sierpnia 2009 Field został uznany za winnego przez Wysoki Sąd (High Court) w Auckland za m.in. korupcję i łapownictwo. 6 października 2009 został skazany na sześć lat więzienia.
