(Originaltitel: The Great Global Warming Swindle, übersetzt: Der große Betrug mit der globalen Erwärmung) ist ein klimaskeptischer britischer Dokumentarfilm von aus dem Jahr 2007, der sich gegen die vorherrschende wissenschaftliche Sichtweise der globalen Erwärmung wendet. Kernaussage des Filmes ist, dass der menschengemachte Klimawandel „ein Betrug sei, der von anti-industriellen Umweltschützern, zusammen mit beteiligten Wissenschaftlern, Journalisten und Politikern erfunden worden sei, und von unzuverlässigen wissenschaftlichen Beweisen gestützt werde“. Er wurde am 8. März 2007 zum ersten Mal auf Channel 4 ausgestrahlt und ist im Internet weit verbreitet. Der Film wurde vielfach wegen schwerer inhaltlicher Fehler kritisiert. Unter anderem wurden in dem Film Ergebnisse der Klimaforschung verdreht bzw. falsch dargestellt, die Kommentare von Interviewpartnern bearbeitet und Datengrafiken so manipuliert, dass der Eindruck erweckt wurde, dass der Mensch nicht verantwortlich für die globale Erwärmung sei. Sechs Wochen nach Erstausstrahlung des Films waren etwa 250 Beschwerden bei der britischen Medienaufsichtsbehörde Office of Communications eingegangen. Filmen motsätter sig den rådande uppfattningen att människan påverkar den globala uppvärmningen och hävdar att det som flertalet ledande forskare på området har kommit fram till är en bluff. Filmen innehåller bland annat intervjuer med som var med och utvecklade temperaturmätningar av atmosfären med satelliter. Även klimatforskaren och oceanografen professor Carl Wunsch medverkar, men denne har senare starkt tagit avstånd från den färdiga produktionen med hänvisning till att skaparna redigerat om intervjun med honom på så sätt att han framstår som skeptisk till mänsklig påverkan av klimatet, tvärtemot hans egentliga åsikt. Wunsch har i ett öppet brev förklarat sitt ställningstagande.
