- Der Translohr Venedig, auch als Straßenbahn Venedig bezeichnet, ist ein seit 2010 verkehrendes Nahverkehrssystem in Venedig. Zuvor bestanden Straßenbahnnetze sowohl in Mestre (bis 1941) als auch auf der Lido-Insel (bis 1940). Derzeit verkehren die beiden Linien T1 und T2. Bedient werden sowohl der Bahnhof Venedig Mestre auf dem Festland als auch der Busbahnhof nahe dem Bahnhof Venezia Santa Lucia in der Altstadt. Die neue Straßenbahn Venedig basiert auf dem Translohr-System. Zur Spurführung wird dabei eine mittig im Fahrweg eingelassene Führungsschiene herangezogen. Das gleiche System besteht unter anderem im nahen Padua. Betrieben wird die Straßenbahn von der Azienda del Consorzio Trasporti Veneziano (ACTV). (de)

Pierwszy wniosek, który przewidywał odbudowę linii tramwajowej złożono w 1992. Decyzję o zastosowaniu systemu translohr, a nie klasycznego tramwaju, podjęto na przełomie roku 1998 i 1999. Argumentowano ją niższymi o około 30% kosztami inwestycji oraz mniejszym natężeniem hałasu. Budowę rozpoczęto w 2004. 20 grudnia 2010 uruchomiono linię T1 na trasie z do Mestre (Sernaglia). Od 2015 tramwaje kursują również do . (pl)
