Two CS @ ILLINOIS faculty have been honored by the world’s largest technical professional society. They join nearly 300 scientists worldwide in the 2018 class of IEEE Fellows.

 
 
 

Last summer, a team of Engineering students advised by CS Professor David Forsyth overcame financial and technical challenges to enter Enigma into an autonomous submarine competition. Now they are aiming for more.

 
 
 

The Spurlock Museum's exhibit, "Knowledge at Work," which includes CS @ ILLINOIS artifacts, like a chassis from ILLIAC II, a PLATO terminal, and a copy of the first piece of computer-composed music, runs through Dec. 21, 2018.
