Your feedback is important to us to help develop the Library for you and we want to know what you think about your Library and its services. If you have any feedback or suggestions on what you like, what we could do better or if there is something you need that we aren't providing at the moment, please let us know.
All feedback is considered and acted upon, where appropriate. We aim to respond within 7 working days to feedback where an email address has been supplied or has been sent through social media.
Your Library, Your Say. You can email us directly at yourlibraryyoursay@northumbria.ac.uk or fill in the online feedback form.
Social media. We take notice of what you're telling us and how you're using the Library @nulibrary on Instagram, Threads and X (Twitter) and #MyNULibrary.
Whiteboards in the Library. We use whiteboards around the Library to get your feedback on specific issues.
Student-Staff Programme Committees (SSPC). We encourage all students to raise any Library-related queries or concerns prior to the meeting so we can provide a response for the meeting through the secretary. All feedback, comments and issues about the Library raised during the meetings are responded to and acted upon, where appropriate, and are included on the SSPC feedback page.
Surveys. We read all your comments from all the learning and teaching surveys you are asked to fill in, including the University Library Student Survey, the National Student Survey (NSS), Postgraduate Taught Experience (PTES), and Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES).
We regularly check that our online services are working correctly to provide you with an excellent experience every time you use Library services. The service availability page details current known issues with our online services. If you find something isn't working that you think we haven't noticed, then you can let us know using the 'Something not working?' form.
