    • MediaWiki (too big and cumbersome)

    • TikiWiki (not crazy about PHP)

    • Instiki (very small, ruby based, but light on features, too.)
• LOVE Ruby
  • But, do not like any Ruby based Wikis

Plans

• Convince the rest of my co-workers that Wikis are good (not evil)

• Document for the MoinMoin community how I have MoinMoin running with the following:

  • Apache + SSL
  • Twisted Matrix
  • Gentoo Linux
• Convert all workstations (starting with our organization then the world) to be either Apples or Linux

Rants

• The only reason Micro$oft is where it is today is marketing
  • When Novell was king, they advertised in LAN Times
  • When Windoze NT 3.5 was being marketed, they were advertising in the Wall Street Journal
  • By the time Novell figured it out, it was too late.
• The amount of money wasted supporting Windoze is mind boggling.
  • If I had a dollar for every minute wasted supporting Windoze...
    • Oh, I do. And, there's a lot more people doing the same thing!
