Hi Jack,

So sad to learn about Mike Carden passing away. He was a great man and a passionate and very important trade unionist. I particularly remember working with Mike on the statutes committee when we were forming the IDC. In fact Mike wrote most of the text and I and the rest of the committee just made comments to the text.

I will be in contact with Mike’s wife to send her and the rest of the family condolences from myself and also the Swedish Dockworkers Union.
