Lib4RI now offers trial access to Springer Protocols for 2024, which includes reproducible laboratory protocols in the biomedical and life sciences.

As of 1 January 2025, swissuniversities is hiring reviewers for the programme Open Science II (2025-2028) to evaluate project proposals. Daily allowance is offered. Application deadline is 30 September 2024.

Autumn is coming and so is our biannual training series «Searching & Managing Scientific Information» for PhD students and other interested members of the 4 federal research institutes Eawag, Empa, PSI & WSL. From September to December 2024, we offer nine individually bookable modules, this time also including a brand new module on AI tools for streamlining scientific projects.

Test Scopus AI with us! Lib4RI offers trial access until the end of this year. From your search query in natural language, Scopus AI generates topic summaries and expanded summaries, produces a concept map and lists topic experts with reference to publications held in Scopus (currently back to 2013). Proposing follow-up questions it allows to delve even deeper into the subject.

For the further development of our services Lib4RI is looking for a Project Manager (80%, m/f/d) in the team Management, Administration & Projects. In this permanent position you can shape the profile of the library and actively contribute to its strategic development.

The umbrella organisation of the Swiss universities (swissuniversities) and the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) have recently updated the Swiss National Open Access Strategy.
