The study has applied a multi-stage representative sampling technique to achieve this objective. The researcher has employed a descriptive research design, and both quantitative and qualitative methods were adopted. The study used 137 systematically selected sample households from four sampled kebeles. The primary data was collected from the municipal city officials and experts, focus group discussions participants as well as households by the researcher with the help of enumerators, and secondary data was collected from rules and regulations, documents concerning land and property registration system, different documents on good governance principles and official records. Five (5) key informants from sectorial offices concerning urban land administration were interviewed. The study has applied a multi-stage representative sampling technique to achieve this objective. The cumulative findings revealed an absence of transparency on land administration-related issues and a problem of responsiveness in the study area. Finally, the study recommended organizing meetings to take complaints as input, setting clear and uniform work procedures based on the study's findings.

Some aliens tend to cogitate Africa as devoid of morality, moral consciousness and perceive Africa ‘’as they do not distinguish between good and evil ….”(Temple, 1952). This led them into giving all forms of derogatory names to Africans and African morality . With a special focus on Africa, this paper deals with discourses being made on morality in African thought. These discourses displays the ambivalence existed among those scholars seeking to define the foundation of morality in Africa within the parameter of religious episteme, community based, ancestral worship and tabooed verdict. Therefore, this paper will be of great benefit and afford the opportunity of preserving moral values and beliefs of the people not only for future generation but also as a source of wisdom from which the younger generations will benefit. However, there is still a gap in applying the principles of good governance in urban land administration. The objective of this urban land administration in Shashemene City of Oromia Regional State, Southern Ethiopia. To achieve this objective, the study has applied multi researcher has employed descri 129 systematically selected sample households from four sampled kebeles. The primary data was collected from the city municipal officials and experts, focus group discussions participants as households by the researcher with the help of enumerators and secondary data were collected from rules and regulations, documents concerning land and property registration system, different documents on good governance principles and official reco narration, while quantitative data were analyzed through descriptive statistics. The cumulative finding reveals that there is an inefficient as well as ineffective land administration system and administrative, technical and capacity problems were the major challenges in the study area. Finally, the study stated improving the participation of people, striving for high level integration between service rendering departments and offices, instituting a pro poor land allo controlling and evaluation system up on employees, applying the modern cadastral system of land registration and setting clear and uniform work procedure as recommendations based on the findings of the study.

Scholarly works in the area have exhaustively studied the prominent causes of youth unemployment. By going beyond the causes, this article critically examines the social and economic conditions of unemployed urban youths in the study areas. The researchers have employed qualitative research approach. The study has used both primary and secondary data sources to produce a full-fledged research article. In-depth interview, focus group discussion and naturalistic observation were the instruments through which primary data were collected. Relevant books, journal articles, magazines, official document and research works were consulted as the principal sources of secondary data. The researchers purposively selected 42 key informants and 12 participants of focus group discussions in the study areas. Unemployed youth are facing many social and economic problems including, social exclusion, low self-confidence, carelessness, low saving, mental and physical disease and fear. As a result, some of them were forced to commit crime and drink alcohol. These problems affected the physical, emotional and psychological lives of unemployed youth in the study areas. The study investigated that town administrations took some measures to reduce youth unemployment in the study areas through organizing youth into groups, providing them certain trainings and encouraging them for job creation. However, they were unable to reduce youth unemployment due to the imbalance between number of unemployed youths and job availability, insufficient labor market and financial problems. Finally, in order to address the social and economic problems of unemployed youth in the study areas this article has suggested the following recommendations: enhancing awareness of the communities and youths, building industrial zones in the study areas, promoting youth entrepreneurs and self-employment, providing long and Short term training for unemployed youths, and making convenient business climate for unemployed youths.
