EDITORIAL EARLY CAREERS

We offer a wide variety of entry level and internship opportunities for budding journalists across the FT newsroom.

NEWS SCHOOL

News School is a nightly education, mentoring and work experience programme designed to give young people from all backgrounds an opportunity to learn about the news, media and associated creative industries.

Additionally, News School graduates have the chance to launch their careers in global news, gain valuable skills, and build a strong professional networks by 200 hours of paid work in various business areas during bespoke summer internships in London and Manila.

70% of News School graduates are now working in the media industry.

WORK EXPERIENCES

Work experiences are bespoke programmes allowing young people from all backgrounds to gain comprehensive experience across a range of topics, including vision board creation, social media management, interview skills, employability skills, personal branding and presentation building.

WORKSHOPS

Workshops are bespoke options ranging from one hour to half a day which include sessions on the background of the FT, employability skills, financial literacy, networking, training (off-the-shelf or bespoke), and Q&A discussions.
