The study established that climate-change has significant effects on cowpea production. It was recommended that farmers should be encouraged by extension workers to adopt diverse mitigating strategies to curb the effects of climate-change. The need for development of a comprehensive agricultural and climate-change policy that takes into account the risks associated with cowpea production among farmers is dire.
