The effect of sonication time, settling time and temperature on the thermal conductivity, viscosity and specific heat of zinc oxide (ZnO, 14nm and 25nm size) and single walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT, 10nm size) based nanofluid are investigated and the results of ZnO with DI water and ethylene glycol (EG) as base fluids are compared. The experimental results indicate that the studied parameters have a remarkable effect on the thermal properties of nanofluid. The rate of enhancement in thermal conductivity of EG based nanofluid is found to be less than that of water based nanofluid. The SWCNT based DI water nanofluid found to be very unstable i.e. the nanoparticles settle down very rapidly. The 0.02% volume fraction of SWCNT nanoparticles suspension results in 10% increase in the specific heat of DI water. A decrement of 24% and 13% in the specific heat of 14nm size ZnO based nanofluid were obtained at a volume fraction of 0.001% and 0.002% respectively.

However, the production of the crop is threatened by a number of biotic and abiotic factors, among which leaf and root diseases are the major constraints in the country including North Shewa highlands. Currently a new disease (faba bean gall) is expanded in the highland faba bean growing area of North Shewa Zone. Field survey were conducted in Basso, Angollela, Menze Gera, Menze Keya, Menze Mama, Mojana Wodera, Siyadebrna Wayu, Hagermariam and Moretna Jiru districts in 2012 main cropping season from flowering to podding crop growth stage. The main purpose of the assessment was to estimate the newly existing disease (Faba bean leaf and stem gall, farmars locally called “Kormid”) incidence, prevalence and severity of the disease in the area. A total of 108 faba bean fields were assessed in thirty six kebele. The assessment was carried out on three faba bean varieties, namely Dagem, Lalo and farmers local. Farmers’ local was widely infected in most faba bean growing districts. Variety Dagem and Lalo were found in Mortena Jiru & Siyadebrna Wayu districts on few fields, but both varieties were infected by this disease. Infected leaf and stem samples were collected to identify the major problem in the laboratory. Among 108 faba bean fields observed, 74 fields were infected by leaf and stem gall disease. The prevalence of this disease in nine districts was 68.52%. The mean incidence of the disease in the districts ranges from 4.08 to 54.99. Maximum incidence was recorded in Hageremariam, Basso and Menze mama (54.99, 25.07 & 16.59) districts respectively. The district mean incidences were 16.18%. There was a significant difference between each district and kebele both in disease incidence and severity. Maximum severity (7&9) was also recorded in Hagermariam and Menze mama around Bash area respectively. The result revealed that the severity of the new disease was serious problem in all districts. Spread of the disease was also very fast. The disease is new to the area and not yet recorded even in Ethiopia on faba bean crop.

For a control system to function, some control elements are required, which by limiting, reducing, regulating or interrupting the pressure, will allow a control sequence of some pre-established or instantaneous operations. Pressure regulation in the hydraulic systems is performed by valves, most of which, of infinite positioning, or else, they can assume different positions from totally open to totally closed, depending on the flow and difference of pressure. The addition of an actuator to a throttling valve is called a CONTROL VALVE thus, making it automatic. In control valves the flow is very precisely controlled by the automatically operated actuators in the closed loop system. The control valves have inherent flow characteristics that define the relationship between the valve opening and flow rate under constant pressure conditions. The control valve is part of a control loop. A control loop is a chain, or series, of equipment that act together to control a process variable or process requirement. Most processes are automatic and self-adjust. In closed-loop control information is measured about the process variable, or process condition, to be controlled, and that information is fed back to a controller to adjust the control valve. Research works conducted within industries had shown that specific design of the final control element, including the valve, actuator, and positioner, are very important in achieving good process control performance under dynamic conditions. This explains why the control valve assembly must be optimized or developed as a unit to yield the best dynamic performance or work characteristics. This Paper is aimed at modeling the automatic pressure control valves as one of the important elements that form part of the process control loop in the control system, with the model of the control valve, carry out simulation program using MATLAB and SIMULINK, study the work characteristics and performances of the control valve and thus recommend conditions for enhanced performance of pressure control valves and consequently, an optimized performance of the control systems.

Subcontracting is a business strategy which came about in Nigeria as an outfall of the practices that were inherent in the industrial sector of the 1960s and 1970s. The adoption of subcontracting to most business organizations in advanced nations has been acknowledged to help such organisations attain organisational goals and aids economic growth and development. Empirical literature in Nigeria reported that the concept is not fully adopted despite emergence of manufacturing and services firms as a result of thriving economy. This study investigates the awareness, adoption and impact of the subcontracting strategy among business organizations in Nigeria. Quantitatively designed questionnaires were distributed to 120 respondents from selected manufacturing and service organisations around Lagos. A Multiple Regression Analysis was carried out to investigate the push and pull factors to subcontracting which could help to find out the decision of organisations to subcontract. Results from the Multiple Regression Analysis reported various levels of significance after testing H1-H4. However, the Pearson Correlation also reported different shared variance figures which is the amount of correlation that exists between both the push and pull factors to the subcontracting decision. However, results from analysis finds that majority of the respondents agreed that subcontracting has indeed assisted the company in realizing positive growth. This study has stirred up the need for a more detailed effort in the use of subcontracting as a tool for success in business activities even in light of the current waves of global financial crisis.

Consequently, this has a trickledown effect on what happens at the school level on how students and teachers view formative assessment tests. Therefore, this study aimed at investigating the factors influencing design of business studies tests in formative assessment with particular focus on whether the given tests were to aid learning or to offer an opportunity to practice what was tested in the end of secondary education course national examinations. The population of the study included all the business studies teachers in the area of Mount Kenya. The study was based on a case study research design. Purposive sampling technique was employed to select eight secondary schools offering business studies at form four levels and teachers in charge of business studies from these schools were included in the study. A focus group discussion guide was used as research instrument to facilitate collection of the desired data which were analyzed thematically. It was observed that owing to the fact that teachers‘ professional efficiency and effectiveness was determined by results from national standardized tests given to students, there existed a shift of focus from testing to aid further learning to that of practicing national standardized examinations. Therefore, factors such as testing frequency, sources of question items, need for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education model examinations, general need for excellent results, language of the examination, compulsory syllabus areas, benefits of excellent results and treats from dismal results influenced the design of business studies formative assessment tests by teachers in the secondary schools.

This Early childhood care and education (ECCE) was incorporated in the Constitution of India by 86th Constitutional amendment in the year 2002. Now this concept of ECCE is in the Directive Principle of State Policy under the Chapter IV of the Constitution of India. The Constitution of India under its Article 45 inculcated the provision of Free and Compulsory education up to the age of 14.Then after it gets its Constititutional status under Article 21 (A) which is incorporated in part the III of Indian Constitution by the virtue of 86th Constitutional amendment. Thus, there is need to have a statutory back up to the provision of ECCE in Article 45. ECCE, being a broader areas of activity, it covers the physical, intellectual as well as psychological development of the child.

Cloud computing enables highly scalable services to be easily consumed over the Internet on an as-needed basis. It‟s a new paradigm for deploying services on rented remote machine. The security problem prevent the rapid development of cloud computing. In our project, we are trying to achieve a Trustworthy Service Oriented Architecture (TSOA) in the Cloud environment through enforcing stronger accountability. We are trying to implement a SAML based authentication which is evaluated by XSD and all the SAML alterations were validated and loaded by Janus back grounded SAML tracer. To avoid web bottling our project includes the customization of Anti-Spoof Captcha option in which the entire captcha will be dynamically constructed to enhance the highest security against spam bots. In cloud the documents will be stored in the format of File Stream Data type in a secure repository and the ease of tracking the documents with revoking versioning of the documents is one of the advanced accountability options designed in the system. The system is internally configured for Push and Pull Subscription methodologies, it is flexible to process on the log data and the data access will be driven by web services with an underlying SOAP protocol.

The history of gender relation worldwide has never been pleasant as women are always at a disadvantage position without any consideration for their emotions and aspirations. Left in this quagmire, women have resolved to take their destiny in their hands by embarking on the struggle for equality with men. This struggle is mirrored in literatures of the world: African male writers especially, present female characters in less than charitable light. Consequently, women writers paying men in their own coins turn to present male characters as brutes and monsters. The paper attempts an examination of the characterization of female characters to show on one hand what societies stand to gain if women are situated in the main stream of events and on the other hand to set a model for a balance representation of gender issues in world societies and Nigeria in particular.

A self-developed questionnaire was used for the purpose of data collection. Population for this analysis was investment professionals from the ISE & LSE. This obtained information had been assessed through descriptive evaluation, correlation technique, and the regression technique additionally. The actual end result with this research demonstrates that the surrounding influence inside character involving personal may influence your decision making power from the buyer. This variable "market information” is actually significant with under the typical or maybe with small amount, however the variable “status consciousness” is actually trivial. The people, who may have their available ideal marketplace details, commonly help make their logical judgments based on such information. The people, who are rank informed, normally adjust his or her judgments about the investment out there when any fresh details relevant to which manufacturer move out there. This kind of research was constrained on the major a pair of factors that could be the explanation of encompassing affect; still you will discover these kinds of many different factors that might be the building blocks regarding these kinds of willing alternative.

To identify the impact of self-assuredly: future forecasting, analyzing market information, observing market fluctuations, and making decisions on the basis of financial wealth on the outcomes. The information on 61 feedback forms were gathered from the managers of the mutual funds and the branch as well as operation managers of various banks from Islamabad & Rawalpindi about overconfidence behavior & its influence on their decision making ability and judgments according to the future forecasting, available market information, financial wealth, and contrary evidences/market fluctuations were computed from side to side this data. With the help of the model of simple regression, we realize the ratios of all the variables (independent & dependent). Future forecasting, market information, financial wealth, and contrary evidences were found positively associated with overconfidence behavior of the investor. This study exposes the outcome of overconfidence behavior/psychology of human on the poor performance of the market: what kind of dynamics might shape the marketplace that is in attendance in each and every individual. Managers, by some means can predict the future movements of the market and make rational decisions if they carefully analyze the available market information and observe the current market fluctuations
