Beton dayanimi 40 ile 90 MPa arasinda degisen ve dogrusal olmayan beton gerilme-birim deformasyon modelini temsil eden matematiksel model deneysel verilere dayandirilarak gelistirilmistir. Beton modelinin guvenilirligini ve gecerliligini dogrulamak icin literaturde bulunan bircok deneysel kolon onerilen beton modeli ve dikdortgen gerilme dagilim modeli kullanilarak analiz edilmistir. Hesaplanan teorik yuksek dayanimli kolon tasima gucu degerlerinin test degerleri ile uyumlu oldugu elde edilmistir.

High strength reinforced concrete columns have been increasingly used in structural applications.... more High strength reinforced concrete columns have been increasingly used in structural applications. It is known that high strength reinforced concrete columns exhibit brittle behavior under applied loads. Therefore, steel fibers can be added into the core concrete to improve the ductility and deformability of high strength reinforced concrete columns. In addition, reinforced concrete columns can be wrapped with carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) materials for strengthening the columns. In this work, experimental and analytical studies on plain and steel fiber reinforced concrete columns and CFRP confined columns have been presented. The experimental strength capacities, load-deflection relations and failure modes of the column specimens have been observed. The effects of the parameters of concrete compressive strength, load eccentricity, steel fibers, and carbon fiber polymer material on the structural behavior of high strength reinforced concrete columns have been examined. It is...

In this study, plain and steel fiber rein- forced concrete columns were wrapped with CFRP material and experimentally tested to determine the effects of sheets on column behavior. It is revealed that the CFRP material is significantly effective on reinforced concrete columns with respect to strength, ductility and confinement. In addition, a numerical procedure is presented for the analysis of slender reinforced concrete columns confined with CFRP sheets subjected to combined axial load and biaxial bending. The CFRP confined slender reinforced concrete columns have been analyzed using geometric features and experimental parameters of concrete compressive strength, steel yield strength and CFRP material properties to predict the column structural behavior. The analysis and experimental results of CFRP confined slender plain and steel fiber reinforced concrete columns have been achieved in good accuracy in this study.

In the experimental study, a total of 32 square section both reinforced concrete and composite column specimens were fabricated at 0, 0.5, 0.75 and 1.0% volume fractions of steel fiber contents to examine the effects of steel fibers on column behaviour. Besides this, the composite columns were constructed and tested using almost the same conditions with reinforced concrete columns to investigate the column experimental behaviour. The complete load−deflection behaviour and strength of column specimens were obtained and the results were discussed in the study. In addition, the column specimens were analysed based on a theoretical method considering the nonlinear behaviour of the materials. The presented experimental study indicates that the inclusion of steel fibers in the range 0.75 to 1.0% volume fraction improves confinement and ductility features of high strength reinforced concrete and composite columns significantly.
