Machine learning algorithms have been used in recent years to predict the risk of stroke by leveraging large amounts of clinical and demographic data. The development of a stroke prediction system using Random Forest machine learning algorithm is the main objective of this thesis. The primary goal of the project is to increase the accuracy of stroke detection while addressing the shortcomings of the current system, which include realtime deployment and interpretability issues with logistic regression. The development and use of an ensemble machine learning-based stroke prediction system, performance optimization through the use of ensemble machine learning algorithms, performance assessment, and real-time model deployment through the use of Python Django are among the goals of the research. The study's potential to improve public health by lessening the severity and consequences of strokes through early diagnosis and treatment makes it significant. Data collection, preprocessing, model selection, evaluation, and real-time deployment using Python Django are all part of the research technique. Our dataset consists of 5110 rows of tuples and columns with total size of 69kg. The performance of our stroke prediction algorithm was evaluated using confusion metrics-consisting of accuracy, precision, recall and F1-score. At the end of the research, Random Forest model gave an accuracy of 98.5% compared to the existing model logistic regression which has 86% accuracy.

So as to understand how participatory design approaches in the development of mobile app for flight reservation and bookings can be localized to better engage the users. The scientific background of this research is based on Human Computer Interaction (HCI), which is an interdisciplinary field concerned with the design, evaluation and implementation of interactive information systems for human use. Under this HCI umbrella there are several other approaches or concepts that are also concerned with user interactions in the design of effective information systems. These approaches mainly differ in terms of the region they originated from and also in terms of how they view the users’ role. To achieve a comprehensive study, descriptive survey research design was employed. The study population consisted of all three thousand, two hundred, and seven (3207) public senior secondary school three (SS-III) students in Owerri Zone (II) from which a sample of four hundred and two (402) science students was drawn using cluster random proportionate sampling technique. The instrument for data collection themed Awareness and Psycho-Spiritual Preparedness in Overcoming the Challenges Encountered during the Search for Greener Pastures (APSPOCESGP) was validated by experts from the Measurement and Evaluation Department, Guidance and Counselling Department, and Christian Religious Studies. The instrument had two clusters, A and B with Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficients 0.87 and 0.85. Simple percentages, mean and standard deviations were used to analyze the research questions while the Z-test statistical tool was used to test for significances at 0.05 conformity level. The findings revealed amongst others that in as much as the students were lowly aware (2.3) of the challenges encountered in exile as well as poorly prepared (2.4) to overcome them, a majority (72%) will migrate from home in search of greener pastures after graduation. Equipped with these discoveries, the researchers concluded that stakeholders in science secondary education; should put in more effort towards improving students' awareness of the various life challenges associated with the season of exile in search of greener pastures and best practices for overcoming them.

The researchers identified some existing organized crime groups in the region to include herdsmen, unknown gunmen, confraternities, area boys, drug and human traffickers. A review of current occurrences in the region from a theoretical perspective revealed that the ideological activities of a particular organized crime group (the unknown gunmen), which has overwhelmed the security apparatus due to its shroudedness in secrecy and other forms of behavioral characterization, have become highly prevalent. Further review revealed that little light has so far been shone on the mapping of organized crime behavioral characterizations, which when properly modeled using computational-based mathematics, can help predict their activities. Based on this gap in literature, the researchers critically reviewed six (6) unique behavioral characterizations of an organized crime network. The review revealed amongst others that resilience enabled the group resist external pressures from law enforcement agencies while well-structuredness gave them the abilities to creating adequate communication networks. Informed by these expositions, the researchers concluded that indepth knowledge of these behavioral characterizations of an organized crime network will not only fuel sound computational-based backgrounds in the area of mathematics of crime (MoC) and computational criminology but also yield intelligent counterterrorism approaches, which will aid the required paradigm shift from the existing non-technological methods of tackling crime (Sense-Response) to the technological methods of Predict-Prevent. Guided by these, the researchers made numerous recommendations amongst which is for security personnel to focus intelligence gathering on the behavioral characterizations of already existing organized crime networks in the region, in order to effectively map and predict their future lines of action.

This paper explores blockchain's role in promoting transparency in e-invoicing systems used by multinational corporations (MNCs) operating in Nigeria. E-invoicing automation has gained popularity due to the benefits of reduced costs and improved efficiency. This paper analyses blockchain's applicability by examining its technical architecture, the current state of e-invoicing used by MNCs in Nigeria, key challenges faced, and relevant regulatory frameworks. Pioneering case studies demonstrate blockchain's commercial viability for coordinating complex cross-border business networks. This study suggests a new framework with parts for a public-private blockchain system that can work with each other. This could change the way e-invoicing is clear by rebuilding trust digitally between different parties.

This journal explores the social and environmental implications of informal e-waste recycling. It delves into the health risks faced by informal recyclers, the socioeconomic impact on communities, and the environmental degradation caused by improper disposal methods. This review examines emerging public health challenges, in particular within low-income and middle-income countries, associated with the informal sector. While informal recyclers contribute to waste recycling and reuse, the relatively primitive techniques they employ, combined with improper management of secondary pollutants, exacerbate environmental pollution of air, soil and water. Even worse, insufficient occupational health measures expose informal waste workers to a range of pollutants, injuries, respiratory and dermatological problems, infections and other serious health issues that contribute to low life expectancy.
