Omawia on historię budynku przy ul. Św. Marcin 78 w Poznaniu. Budynek ten w latach 1949-1990 pełnił funkcję siedziby Komitetu Wojewódzkiego Polskiej Zjednoczonej Partii Robotniczej, a następnie w latach 1990-2015 - siedziby Wydziału Historycznego Uniwersytetu im. Adama Mickiewicza.

"Ewangelicy w gminie Kórnik: pamięć społeczna i dziedzictwo kulturowe", będącej efektem realizacji interdyscyplinarnego projektu naukowego dotyczącego dziedzictwa kulturowego i pamięci społecznej po dawnych, ewangelickich mieszkańcach gminy Kórnik. Na terenie gminy cmentarze ewangelickie istniały w kilku miejscowościach, lecz do naszych czasów zachowały się w złym stanie. Nadal jednak stanowią cenne źródło do badań nad przeszłością regionu.
This article is a part of a joint publication titled "Evangelicals in the Kórnik commune: social memory and cultural heritage", which is a result of implementation of interdisciplinary scientific project which concerned cultural heritage and social memory of former, evangelical inhabitants of Kórnik commune. In this territory evangelical cemeteries existed in few towns but to our times they have remained in a very bad condition. However, they are still a valuable source for research of past of the region.

It makes us happy to notice that Poles read more and more history books and magazines which promote knowledge about the past. They discuss history on specially designed fora, engage in organizing historical reconstructions and make documentaries about the past. There are growing expectations from researchers to publish more and more books on specific topics which non-historians might be interested in. Not only do these interests focus on national history, but also, increasingly, on local history of voivodships, counties, cities or towns. We would like to meet these expectations by providing the readers with this publication. It is to be the culmination of the project called “Cemetery in Orzeszkowo – a witness to the history of struggles for independence,” financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Herritage, with the Centre of Culture and Education in Kwilcz as the beneficiary of the funds. According to the adopted assumptions of the project, this publication should fulfill important cognitive, social and educational functions, but, above all, it should improve the historical awareness of the inhabitants of Międzychód County and other regions. We hope that it will play a significant role in strengthening the sense of connection with the local landscape of memory, full of traces of the former multicultural, multireligious character of the region, and thus in shaping the responsibility for the preserved heritage so that it prevails for next generations.
