Inneke Baatsen

Since octobre 2010, I have been engaged with the project "Economies of quality and the material renaissance", a research project from the university of Antwerp, together with Isis Sturtewagen and Julie De Groot as co-researchers. In this project on late medieval and early modern material culture, my main focus was on tableware and kitchen utensils. With a more pronounced emphasis on textual analysis of manuals and literature on table manners, my part of the project broke new grounds and resulted in an new research proposal.Therefore, the FWO granted me an aspirant-fellowship  (since octobre last year) to research and complete this new approach to the full.
