Today's classical planners are powerful, but modeling input tasks in formats such as PDDL is tedious and error-prone. In contrast, planning with Large Language Models (LLMs) allows for almost any input text, but offers no guarantees on plan quality or even soundness. In an attempt to merge the best of these two approaches, some work has begun to use LLMs to automate parts of the PDDL creation process. However, these methods still require various degrees of expert input. We present NL2Plan, the first domain-agnostic offline LLM-driven planning system. NL2Plan uses an LLM to incrementally extract the necessary information from a short text prompt before creating a complete PDDL description of both the domain and the problem, which is finally solved by a classical planner. We evaluate NL2Plan on four planning domains and find that it solves 10 out of 15 tasks - a clear improvement over a plain chain-of-thought reasoning LLM approach, which only solves 2 tasks. Moreover, in two out of the five failure cases, instead of returning an invalid plan, NL2Plan reports that it failed to solve the task. In addition to using NL2Plan in end-to-end mode, users can inspect and correct all of its intermediate results, such as the PDDL representation, increasing explainability and making it an assistive tool for PDDL creation.

Work on instruction-tuned Large Language Models (LLMs) has used automatic methods based on text overlap and LLM judgments as cost-effective alternatives to human evaluation. In this paper, we perform a meta-evaluation of such methods and assess their reliability across a broad range of tasks. We observe that while automatic evaluation methods can approximate human ratings under specific conditions, their validity is highly context-dependent. Specifically, the simple ROUGE-L metric correlates well with human ratings for short-answer English tasks but is unreliable in free-form generation tasks and cross-lingual transfer. The effectiveness of the more advanced method of using GPT-4 as a judge diminishes significantly if reference answers are not included in the prompt, which is the scenario where this method has the potential to provide the most value compared to other metrics. Our findings enhance the understanding of how automatic methods should be applied and interpreted when developing and evaluating instruction-tuned LLMs.

The self-rationalising capabilities of large language models (LLMs) have been explored in restricted settings, using task/specific data sets. However, current LLMs do not (only) rely on specifically annotated data; nonetheless, they frequently explain their outputs. The properties of the generated explanations are influenced by the pre-training corpus and by the target data used for instruction fine-tuning. As the pre-training corpus includes a large amount of human-written explanations "in the wild", we hypothesise that LLMs adopt common properties of human explanations. By analysing the outputs for a multi-domain instruction fine-tuning data set, we find that generated explanations show selectivity and contain illustrative elements, but less frequently are subjective or misleading. We discuss reasons and consequences of the properties' presence or absence. In particular, we outline positive and negative implications depending on the goals and user groups of the self-rationalising system.

Unsupervised speech disentanglement aims at separating fast varying from slowly varying components of a speech signal. In this contribution, we take a closer look at the embedding vector representing the slowly varying signal components, commonly named the speaker embedding vector. We ask, which properties of a speaker's voice are captured and investigate to which extent do individual embedding vector components sign responsible for them, using the concept of Shapley values. Our findings show that certain speaker-specific acoustic-phonetic properties can be fairly well predicted from the speaker embedding, while the investigated more abstract voice quality features cannot.

It has been shown that Large Language Model (LLM) alignments can be circumvented by appending specially crafted attack suffixes with harmful queries to elicit harmful responses. To conduct attacks against private target models whose characterization is unknown, public models can be used as proxies to fashion the attack, with successful attacks being transferred from public proxies to private target models. The success rate of attack depends on how closely the proxy model approximates the private model. We hypothesize that for attacks to be transferrable, it is sufficient if the proxy can approximate the target model in the neighborhood of the harmful query. Therefore, in this paper, we propose \emph{Local Fine-Tuning (LoFT)}, \textit{i.e.}, fine-tuning proxy models on similar queries that lie in the lexico-semantic neighborhood of harmful queries to decrease the divergence between the proxy and target models. First, we demonstrate three approaches to prompt private target models to obtain similar queries given harmful queries. Next, we obtain data for local fine-tuning by eliciting responses from target models for the generated similar queries. Then, we optimize attack suffixes to generate attack prompts and evaluate the impact of our local fine-tuning on the attack's success rate. Experiments show that local fine-tuning of proxy models improves attack transferability and increases attack success rate by $39\%$, $7\%$, and $0.5\%$ (absolute) on target models ChatGPT, GPT-4, and Claude respectively.

Disentanglement is the task of learning representations that identify and separate factors that explain the variation observed in data. Disentangled representations are useful to increase the generalizability, explainability, and fairness of data-driven models. Only little is known about how well such disentanglement works for speech representations. A major challenge when tackling disentanglement for speech representations are the unknown generative factors underlying the speech signal. In this work, we investigate to what degree speech representations encoding speaker identity can be disentangled. To quantify disentanglement, we identify acoustic features that are highly speaker-variant and can serve as proxies for the factors of variation underlying speech. We find that disentanglement of the speaker embedding is limited when trained with standard objectives promoting disentanglement but can be improved over vanilla representation learning to some extent.

Long-tailed semi-supervised learning (LTSSL) represents a practical scenario for semi-supervised applications, challenged by skewed labeled distributions that bias classifiers. This problem is often aggravated by discrepancies between labeled and unlabeled class distributions, leading to biased pseudo-labels, neglect of rare classes, and poorly calibrated probabilities. To address these issues, we introduce Flexible Distribution Alignment (FlexDA), a novel adaptive logit-adjusted loss framework designed to dynamically estimate and align predictions with the actual distribution of unlabeled data and achieve a balanced classifier by the end of training. FlexDA is further enhanced by a distillation-based consistency loss, promoting fair data usage across classes and effectively leveraging underconfident samples. This method, encapsulated in ADELLO (Align and Distill Everything All at Once), proves robust against label shift, significantly improves model calibration in LTSSL contexts, and surpasses previous state-of-of-art approaches across multiple benchmarks, including CIFAR100-LT, STL10-LT, and ImageNet127, addressing class imbalance challenges in semi-supervised learning. Augmenting language models with a retrieval mechanism has been shown to significantly improve their performance while keeping the number of parameters low. Retrieval-augmented models commonly rely on a semantic retrieval mechanism based on the similarity between dense representations of the query chunk and potential neighbors. In this paper, we study the state-of-the-art Retro model and observe that its performance gain is better explained by surface-level similarities, such as token overlap. Inspired by this, we replace the semantic retrieval in Retro with a surface-level method based on BM25, obtaining a significant reduction in perplexity. As full BM25 retrieval can be computationally costly for large datasets, we also apply it in a re-ranking scenario, gaining part of the perplexity reduction with minimal computational overhead.

Recent work on the Retrieval-Enhanced Transformer (RETRO) model has shown that off-loading memory from trainable weights to a retrieval database can significantly improve language modeling and match the performance of non-retrieval models that are an order of magnitude larger in size. It has been suggested that at least some of this performance gain is due to non-trivial generalization based on both model weights and retrieval. In this paper, we try to better understand the relative contributions of these two components. We find that the performance gains from retrieval largely originate from overlapping tokens between the database and the test data, suggesting less non-trivial generalization than previously assumed. More generally, our results point to the challenges of evaluating the generalization of retrieval-augmented language models such as RETRO, as even limited token overlap may significantly decrease test-time loss. FLASH is the first soft X-ray FEL user facility, routinely providing brilliant photon beams for users since 2005. The second undulator branch of this facility, FLASH2, is gap-tunable which allows to test and use advanced lasing concepts. In particular, we developed a two-color operation mode based on the alternatingly tuned undulator segments (every other segment is tuned to the second wavelength). This scheme is advantageous in comparison with a subsequent generation of two colors in two consecutive sections of the undulator line. First, source positions of the two FEL beams are close to each other which makes it easier to focus them on a sample. Second, the amplification is more efficient in this configuration since the segments with respectively "wrong" wavelength still act as bunchers. We studied operation of this scheme in the regime of small and large separation of tunes (up to a factor of two). We developed new methods for online intensity measurements of the two colors simultaneously that require a combination of two detectors. We also demonstrated our capabilities to measure spectral and temporal properties of two pulses with different wavelengths.

Disentangling speaker and content attributes of a speech signal into separate latent representations followed by decoding the content with an exchanged speaker representation is a popular approach for voice conversion, which can be trained with non-parallel and unlabeled speech data. However, previous approaches perform disentanglement only implicitly via some sort of information bottleneck or normalization, where it is usually hard to find a good trade-off between voice conversion and content reconstruction. Further, previous works usually do not consider an adaptation of the speaking rate to the target speaker or they put some major restrictions to the data or use case. Therefore, the contribution of this work is two-fold. First, we employ an explicit and fully unsupervised disentanglement approach, which has previously only been used for representation learning, and show that it allows to obtain both superior voice conversion and content reconstruction. Second, we investigate simple and generic approaches to linearly adapt the length of a speech signal, and hence the speaking rate, to a target speaker and show that the proposed adaptation allows to increase the speaking rate similarity with respect to the target speaker.

Many real-world recognition problems are characterized by long-tailed label distributions. These distributions make representation learning highly challenging due to limited generalization over the tail classes. If the test distribution differs from the training distribution, e.g. uniform versus long-tailed, the problem of the distribution shift needs to be addressed. A recent line of work proposes learning multiple diverse experts to tackle this issue. Ensemble diversity is encouraged by various techniques, e.g. by specializing different experts in the head and the tail classes. In this work, we take an analytical approach and extend the notion of logit adjustment to ensembles to form a Balanced Product of Experts (BalPoE). BalPoE combines a family of experts with different test-time target distributions, generalizing several previous approaches. We show how to properly define these distributions and combine the experts in order to achieve unbiased predictions, by proving that the ensemble is Fisher-consistent for minimizing the balanced error. Our theoretical analysis shows that our balanced ensemble requires calibrated experts, which we achieve in practice using mixup. We conduct extensive experiments and our method obtains new state-of-the-art results on three long-tailed datasets: CIFAR-100-LT, ImageNet-LT, and iNaturalist-2018. In practice, the value-at-risk (VaR) for a longer holding period is often scaled using the 'square root of time rule'. The VaR is determined for a shorter holding period and then scaled up according to the desired holding period. For example, the Basel rules allow banks to scale up the 1-day VaR by the square root of ten to determine the 10-day VaR. It can be seen from the results of this thesis that scaling can also provide good and accurate estimates of VaR. However, it is probably much more important to consider that, depending on the methods or data set involved, there may also be significant consequences for risk provisioning. Particularly, since scaling does not always avoid the occurrence of losses that exceed the VaR estimate on a frequent basis over a period of time. Overall, the permission to use the square root of time rule in the regulatory framework should be reconsidered.

Wide-band-gap insulators such as NiO offer the exciting prospect of coherently manipulating electronic correlations with strong optical fields. Contrary to metals where rapid dephasing of optical excitation via electronic processes occurs, the sub-gap excitation in charge-transfer insulators has been shown to couple to low-energy bosonic excitations. However, it is currently unknown if the bosonic dressing field is composed of phonons or magnons. Here we use the prototypical charge-transfer insulator NiO to demonstrate that 1.5 eV sub-gap optical excitation leads to a renormalised NiO band-gap in combination with a significant reduction of the antiferromagnetic order. We employ element-specific X-ray reflectivity at the FLASH free-electron laser to demonstrate the reduction of the upper band-edge at the O 1s-2p core-valence resonance (K-edge) whereas the antiferromagnetic order is probed via X-ray magnetic linear dichroism (XMLD) at the Ni 2p-3d resonance (L2-edge). Comparing the transient XMLD spectral line shape to ground-state measurements allows us to extract a spin temperature rise of 65 +/- 5 K for time delays longer than 400 fs while at earlier times a non-equilibrium spin state is formed. We identify transient mid-gap states being formed during the first 200 fs accompanied by a band-gap reduction lasting at least up to the maximum measured time delay of 2.4 ps. Electronic structure calculations indicate that magnon excitations significantly contribute to the reduction of the NiO band gap.

The extension of nonlinear spectroscopic techniques into the x-ray domain is in its infancy but holds the promise to provide unique insight into the dynamics of charges in photoexcited processes, which are of fundamental as well as applied interest. We report on the observation of a third order nonlinear process in lithium fluoride at a free-electron laser. Exploring the yield of four wave mixing (FWM) in resonance with transitions to strongly localized core exciton states vs. delocalized Bloch states, we find resonant FWM to be a sensitive probe for the degree of charge localization: substantial sum- and difference-frequency generation is observed exclusively when in a one- or three-photon resonance with a LiF core exciton, with a dipole forbidden transition affecting details of the nonlinear response. Our reflection-geometry-based approach to detect FWM signals enables the study of a wide variety of condensed matter sample systems, provides atomic selectivity via resonant transitions and can be easily scaled to shorter wavelengths at free electron x-ray lasers.

The conversion of photon energy into other energetic forms in molecules is accompanied by charge moving on ultrafast timescales. We directly observe the charge motion at a specific site in an electronically excited molecule using time-resolved x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (TR-XPS). We extend the concept of static chemical shift from conventional XPS by the excited-state chemical shift (ESCS), which is connected to the charge in the framework of a potential model. This allows us to invert TR-XPS spectra to the dynamic charge at a specific atom. We demonstrate the power of TR-XPS by using sulphur 2p-core-electron-emission probing to study the UV-excited dynamics of 2-thiouracil. The new method allows us to discover that a major part of the population relaxes to the molecular ground state within 220-250 fs. In addition, a 250-fs oscillation, visible in the kinetic energy of the TR-XPS, reveals a coherent exchange of population among electronic states.

Quantum coherence between electronic states of a photoionized molecule and the resulting process of ultrafast electron-hole migration have been put forward as a possible quantum mechanism of charge-directed reactivity governing the photoionization-induced molecular decomposition. Attosecond experiments based on the indirect (fragment ion-based) characterization of the proposed electronic phenomena suggest that the photoionization-induced electronic coherence can survive for tens of femtoseconds, while some theoretical studies predict much faster decay of the coherence due to the quantum uncertainty in the nuclear positions and the nuclear-motion effects. The open questions are: do long-lived electronic quantum coherences exist in complex molecules and can they be probed directly, i.e. via electronic observables? Here, we use x-rays both to create and to directly probe quantum coherence in the photoionized amino acid glycine. The outgoing photoelectron wave leaves behind a positively charged ion that is in a coherent superposition of quantum mechanical eigenstates lying within the ionizing pulse spectral bandwidth. Delayed x-ray pulses track the induced coherence through resonant x-ray absorption that induces Auger decay and by the photoelectron emission from sequential double photoionization. Sinusoidal temporal modulation of the detected signal at early times (0 - 25 fs) is observed in both measurements. Advanced ab initio many-electron simulations, taking into account the quantum uncertainty in the nuclear positions, allow us to explain the first 25 fs of the detected coherent quantum evolution in terms of the electronic coherence.

To foster disentanglement, we propose adversarial contrastive predictive coding. This new disentanglement method does neither need parallel data nor any supervision. We show that the proposed technique is capable of separating speaker and content traits into the two different representations and show competitive speaker-content disentanglement performance compared to other unsupervised approaches. We further demonstrate an increased robustness of the content representation against a train-test mismatch compared to spectral features, when used for phone recognition.

PANDA (anti-Proton ANnihiliation at DArmstadt) is planned to be one of the four main experiments at the future international accelerator complex FAIR (Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research) in Darmstadt, Germany. It is going to address fundamental questions of hadron physics and quantum chromodynamics using cooled antiproton beams with a high intensity and and momenta between 1.5 and 15 GeV/c. PANDA is designed to reach a maximum luminosity of 2x10^32 cm^2 s. Most of the physics programs require an excellent particle identification (PID). The PID of hadronic states at the forward endcap of the target spectrometer will be done by a fast and compact Cherenkov detector that uses the detection of internally reflected Cherenkov light (DIRC) principle. It is designed to cover the polar angle range from 5° to 22° and to provide a separation power for the separation of charged pions and kaons up to 3 standard deviations (s.d.) for particle momenta up to 4 GeV/c in order to cover the important particle phase space. This document describes the technical design and the expected performance of the novel PANDA Disc DIRC detector that has not been used in any other high energy physics experiment (HEP) before. The performance has been studied with Monte-Carlo simulations and various beam tests at DESY and CERN. The final design meets all PANDA requirements and guarantees suffcient safety margins.

The branching fraction \wbrksk is consistent with the world average value and the other three branching fractions are measured for the first time. We also measure the $CP$ asymmetries for the four decays and do not find a significant deviation from zero.

An amplitude analysis of the $K_{S}K_{S}$ system produced in radiative $J/ψ$ decays is performed using the $(1310.6\pm7.0)\times10^{6}$ $J/ψ$ decays collected by the BESIII detector. Two approaches are presented. A mass-dependent analysis is performed by parameterizing the $K_{S}K_{S}$ invariant mass spectrum as a sum of Breit-Wigner line shapes. Additionally, a mass-independent analysis is performed to extract a piecewise function that describes the dynamics of the $K_{S}K_{S}$ system while making minimal assumptions about the properties and number of poles in the amplitude. The dominant amplitudes in the mass-dependent analysis include the $f_{0}(1710)$, $f_{0}(2200)$, and $f_{2}^\prime(1525)$. The mass-independent results, which are made available as input for further studies, are consistent with those of the mass-dependent analysis and are useful for a systematic study of hadronic interactions. The branching fraction of radiative $J/ψ$ decays to $K_{S}K_{S}$ is measured to be $(8.1 \pm 0.4) \times 10^{-4}$, where the uncertainty is systematic and the statistical uncertainty is negligible.

The cross section of the process $e^+e^-\to π^+D^0D^{*-}$ for center-of-mass energies from 4.05 to 4.60~GeV is measured precisely using data samples collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII storage ring.
Two enhancements are clearly visible in the cross section around 4.23 and 4.40~GeV.
Using several models to describe the dressed cross section yields stable parameters for the first enhancement, which has a mass of $4228.6 \pm 4.1 \pm 6.3 \un{MeV}/c^2$ and a width of $77.0 \pm 6.8 \pm 6.3 \un{MeV}$, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second ones are systematic.
Our resonant mass is consistent with previous observations of the $Y(4220)$ state and the theoretical prediction of a $D\bar{D}_1(2420)$ molecule.
This result is the first observation of $Y(4220)$ associated with an open-charm final state.
Fits with three resonance functions with additional $Y(4260)$, $Y(4320)$, $Y(4360)$, $ψ(4415)$, or a new resonance, do not show significant contributions from either of these resonances. The second enhancement is not from a single known resonance. It could contain contributions from $ψ(4415)$ and other resonances, and a detailed amplitude analysis is required to better understand this enhancement.

Using 16 energy points of $e^{+}e^{-}$ annihilation data collected in the vicinity of the $J/ψ$ resonance with the BESIII detector and with a total integrated luminosity of around 100 pb$^{-1}$, we study the relative phase between the strong and electromagnetic amplitudes of $J/ψ$ decays. The relative phase between $Jψ$ electromagnetic decay and the continuum process ($e^{+}e^{-}$ annihilation without the $J/ψ$ resonance) is confirmed to be zero by studying the cross section lineshape of $μ^{+}μ^{-}$ production. The relative phase between $J/ψ$ strong and electromagnetic decays is then measured to be $(84.9\pm3.6)^\circ$ or $(-84.7\pm3.1)^\circ$ for the $2(π^{+}π^{-})π^{0}$ final state by investigating the interference pattern between the $J/ψ$ decay and the continuum process. This is the first measurement of the relative phase between $J/ψ$ strong and electromagnetic decays into a multihadron final state using the lineshape of the production cross section. We also study the production lineshape of the multihadron final state $ηπ^{+}π^{-}$ with $η\toπ^{+}π^{-}π^{0}$, which provides additional information about the phase between the $J/ψ$ electromagnetic decay amplitude and the continuum process. Additionally, the branching fraction of $J/ψ\to 2(π^{+}π^{-})π^{0}$ is measured to be $(4.73\pm0.44)\%$ or $(4.85\pm0.45)\%$, and the branching fraction of $J/ψ\toηπ^{+}π^{-}$ is measured to be $(3.78\pm0.68)\times10^{-4}$. Both of them are consistent with the world average values. The quoted uncertainties include both statistical and systematic uncertainties, which are mainly caused by the low statistics.

The charm semileptonic decays $D^+\toηe^+ν_{e}$ and $D^+\toη'e^+ν_{e}$ are studied with a sample of $e^+e^-$ collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.93 fb$^{-1}$ collected at $\sqrt{s}$ = 3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector. We report the first measurements of absolute branching fractions for the $W$-exchange-only processes $Λ^+_c\toΞ^0K^+$ and $Λ^+_c\toΞ(1530)^0K^+$ with the double-tag technique, by analyzing an $e^{+}e^{-}$ collision data sample, that corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 567 pb$^{-1}$ collected at a center-of-mass energy of 4.6 GeV by the BESIII detector. The branching fractions are measured to be $\mathcal{B}(Λ^+_c\toΞ^0K^+)=(5.90\pm0.86\pm0.39)\times10^{-3}$ and $\mathcal{B}(Λ^+_c\toΞ(1530)^0K^+)=(5.02\pm0.99\pm0.31)\times10^{-3}$, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic. Our results are more precise than the previous relative measurements.

The branching fractions of $D^0\to π^-μ^+ν_μ$ and $D^+\to π^0μ^+ν_μ$ are measured to be $(0.272 \pm 0.008_{\rm stat.} \pm 0.006_{\rm syst.})\%$ and $(0.350 \pm 0.011_{\rm stat.} \pm 0.010_{\rm syst.})\%$, respectively, where the former is of much improved precision compared to previous results and the latter is determined for the first time. Using these results along with previous BESIII measurements of $D^{0(+)}\to π^{-(0)}e^+ν_e$, we calculate the branching fraction ratios to be ${\mathcal R}^0\equiv {\mathcal B}_{D^{0}\to π^{-}μ^+ν_μ}/{\mathcal B}_{D^{0}\to π^{-}e^+ν_e}=0.922\pm 0.030_{\rm stat.}\pm0.022_{\rm syst.}$ and ${\mathcal R}^+\equiv {\mathcal B}_{D^{+}\to π^{0}μ^+ν_μ}/{\mathcal B}_{D^{+}\to π^{0}e^+ν_e}=0.964\pm 0.037_{\rm stat.}\pm0.026_{\rm syst.}$, which are compatible with the theoretical expectation of lepton flavor universality within $1.7σ$ and $0.5σ$, respectively. We also examine the branching fraction ratios in different four-momentum transfer square regions, and find no significant deviations from the standard model predictions.

The absolute branching fraction $\mathcal{B}(D_{s0}^{*-}(2317)\to π^0 D_{s}^{-})$ is measured as $1.00^{+0.00}_{-0.14}\pm 0.14$ for the first time. The uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively.

The corresponding Born cross sections are measured and found to be half of those of the reaction $e^{+}e^{-} \to π^{+}π^{-}ψ(3686)$. This is consistent with the expectation from isospin symmetry. Furthermore, the Dalitz plots for $π^{0}π^{0}ψ(3686)$ are accordant with those of $π^{+}π^{-}ψ(3686)$ at all energy points, and a neutral analogue to the structure in $π^\pm ψ(3686)$ around 4040 MeV/$c^{2}$ first observed at $\sqrt{s}$=4.416 GeV is observed in the isospin neutral mode at the same energy.

At center-of-mass energies $\sqrt{s}=4574.5$ and $4599.5 $ $\mathrm{MeV}$, the higher statistics data enable us to measure the $Λ_{c}$ polar angle distributions. From these, the ratio between the $Λ_{c}$ electric and magnetic form factors ($|G_{E}/G_{M}|$) is measured for the first time. They are found to be $1.14\pm0.14\pm0.07$ and $1.23\pm0.05\pm0.03$ respectively, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic.

Two commonly used representations are used to describe the Dalitz plot density. We find that an assumption of a linear amplitude does not describe the data well. A small deviation of the obtained matrix elements between $η^{\prime}\toηπ^{+}π^{-}$ and $η^{\prime}\toηπ^{0}π^{0}$ is probably caused by the mass difference between charged and neutral pions or radiative corrections. No cusp structure in $η^{\prime}\toηπ^{0}π^{0}$ is observed.

The dominant contribution is found to be $J/ψ$ and $ψ(3686)$ decays to $ρη^\prime$. In the $J/ψ$ decay, the branching fraction ${\cal B}(J/ψ\to ρη^\prime)$ is determined to be $(7.90\pm0.19(\mathrm{stat})\pm0.49(\mathrm{sys}))\times 10^{-5}$. Two solutions are found in the $ψ(3686)$ decay, and the corresponding branching fraction ${\cal B}(ψ(3686)\to ρη^\prime)$ is $(1.02\pm0.11(\mathrm{stat})\pm0.24(\mathrm{sys}))\times 10^{-5}$ for the case of constructive interference, and $(5.69\pm1.28(\mathrm{stat})\pm2.36(\mathrm{sys}))\times 10^{-6}$ for destructive interference. As a consequence, the ratios of branching fractions between $ψ(3686)$ and $J/ψ$ decays to $ρη^\prime$ are calculated to be $(12.9\pm1.4(\mathrm{stat})\pm3.1(\mathrm{sys}))$\% and $(7.2\pm1.6(\mathrm{stat})\pm3.0(\mathrm{sys}))$\%, respectively. We also determine the inclusive branching fractions of $J/ψ$ and $ψ(3686)$ decays to $π^+π^-η^\prime$ to be $(1.36\pm0.02(\mathrm{stat})\pm0.08(\mathrm{sys}))\times 10^{-4}$ and $(1.51\pm0.14(\mathrm{stat})\pm 0.23(\mathrm{sys}))\times 10^{-5}$, respectively.
