Implications of the absence of high-mass radion signals
Abstract: Given the disappearance of the 750 GeV di-photon LHC signal and the absence of signals at high mass in this and other channels, significant constraints on the mixed Higgs-radion of the five-dimensional Randall-Sundrum model arise. By combining all channels, these constraints place a significant radion-mass-dependent lower bound on the radion vacuum expectation value that is fairly independent of t… ▽ More

Probing wrong-sign Yukawa couplings at the LHC and a future linear collider
Abstract: We consider the two-Higgs-doublet model as a framework in which to evaluate the viability of scenarios in which the sign of the coupling of the observed Higgs boson to down-type fermions (in particular, $b$-quark pairs) is opposite to that of the Standard Model (SM), while at the same time all other tree-level couplings are close to the SM values. New constraints on a light CP-odd Higgs boson and related NMSSM Ideal Higgs Scenarios
Abstract: Recent BaBar limits on $\br(Υ(3S)\to \gam a\to \gam τ^+τ^-)$ and $\br(Υ(3S)\to \gam a\to \gam μ^+μ^-)$ provide increased constraints on the $a b\anti b$ coupling of a CP-odd Higgs boson, $a$, with $m_a<M_{Υ(3S)}$. Probing NMSSM Scenarios with Minimal Fine-Tuning by Searching for Decays of the Upsilon to a Light CP-Odd Higgs Boson
Abstract: Completely natural electroweak symmetry breaking is easily achieved in supersymmetric models if there is a SM-like Higgs boson, $h$, with $m_h\lsim 100\gev$. In the minimal supersymmetric model, such an $h$ decays mainly to $b\anti b$ and is ruled out by LEP constraints. Precision W-boson and top-quark mass determinations at a muon collider
Abstract: Precise determinations of the masses of the $W$ boson and of the top quark could stringently test the radiative structure of the Standard Model (SM) or provide evidence for new physics. We analyze the excellent prospects at a muon collider for measuring $M_W$ and $m_t$ in the $W^+W^-$ and $t\bar t$ threshold regions. With an integrated luminosity of 10 (100) fb$^{-1}$, the $W$-boson mass could b… ▽ More

Determining the existence and nature of the quark-gluon plasma by Upsilon suppression at the LHC
Abstract: Minijet production in $\sqrt{s} = 5.5$ TeV Pb+Pb collisions at the LHC is expected to produce a gluon-dominated plasma with large initial temperatures and energy densities. We discuss the implications of the high initial temperatures on the screening mass and on the relative suppression of members of the $Υ$ family. We demonstrate that $p_T$-dependence of the $Υ'/Υ$ ratio is only expected if a q… ▽ More

Measuring the Higgs to Photon-Photon Branching Ratio at the Next Linear $e^+e^-$ Collider
Abstract: We examine the prospects for measuring the photon-photon branching ratio of a Standard-Model-like Higgs boson ($h$) at the Next Linear $e^+e^-$ Collider when the Higgs boson is produced via $W^+W^-$--fusion: $e^+e^-\toν_e \barν_e h$. In particular, we study the accuracy of such a measurement and the statistical significance of the associated signal as a function of the electromagnetic calorimete… ▽ More

Will at least one of the Higgs bosons of the next-to-minimal supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model be observable at LEP2 or the LHC?
Abstract: We demonstrate that there are regions of parameter space in the next-to-minimal (i.e. two-Higgs-doublet, one-Higgs-singlet superfield) supersymmetric extension of the SM for which none of the Higgs bosons are observable either at LEP2 with $\sqrt{s}=192 GeV$ and an integrated luminosity of $L=1000 inverse pb$ or at the LHC with $L=600 inverse fb$.

Searching for Doubly-Charged Higgs Bosons at Future Colliders
Abstract: Doubly-charged Higgs bosons ($Δ^{--}/Δ^{++}$) appear in several extensions to the Standard Model and can be relatively light. We review the theoretical motivation for these states and present a study of the discovery reach in future runs of the Fermilab Tevatron for pair-produced doubly-charged Higgs bosons decaying to like-sign lepton pairs. We also comment on the discovery potential at other f… ▽ More

Motivations for and Implications of Non-Universal GUT-Scale Boundary Conditions for Soft SUSY-Breaking Parameters
Abstract: We outline several well-motivated models in which GUT boundary conditions for SUSY breaking are non-universal. The diverse phenomenological implications of the non-universality for SUSY discovery at LEP2, the Tevatron, the LHC and the NLC are sketched.

Discriminating between Higgs Boson models using $e^+e^-\to t \anti t \h$ and $Z\h$ at the NLC
Abstract: We demonstrate that the process $e^+e^-\to t\anti t h$ at the NLC provides a powerful tool for extracting the $t\anti t$ (Yukawa) couplings of the $\h$. In combination with the $\epem\to Z\h$ process, an accurate determination of the $ZZ$ coupling of the $\h$ is also possible. The resulting ability to distinguish different models of the Higgs sector is illustrated by detailed studies for two-Hig… ▽ More

Report of the Supersymmetry Theory Working Group
Abstract: We provide a mini-guide to some of the possible manifestations of weak scale supersymmetry. For each of six scenarios we provide a brief description of the theoretical underpinnings, the adjustable parameters, a qualitative description of the associated phenomenology at future colliders, comments on how to simulate each scenario with existing event generators.

Detection of Neutral MSSM Higgs Bosons in Four-$b$ Final States at the Tevatron and the LHC: An Update
Abstract: We update our earlier results regarding detection of $gg\to b\anti b h\to 4b$ ($h=h^0,H^0,A^0$) to incorporate the very high $b$-tagging efficiencies and purities that are now anticipated at the LHC. New results for the Tev$^*$ are given, and indicate substantial potential for these modes. The complementarity of the $H^0\to h^0h^0 \to 4b$ final state mode is illustrated for the LHC. Prospects for and Implications of Measuring the Higgs to Photon-Photon Branching Ratio at the Next Linear $e^+e^-$ Collider
Abstract: We evaluate the prospects for measuring $BR(h\toγγ)$ for a Standard-Model-like Higgs boson at the Next Linear $e^+e^-$ Collider in the $e^+e^-\to Z^*\to Z h$ and $e^+e^-\toν_e\antiν_e h$ production modes. Relative merits of different machine energy/luminosity strategies and different electromagnetic calorimeter designs are evaluated. We emphasize the importance of measuring $BR(h\toγγ)$ in order… ▽ More
