The Odderon in QCD with running coupling
Abstract: Starting from the leading Odderon solution of the three gluon system in perturbative QCD we introduce, as a first step towards the transition to the nonperturbative region, an infrared cutoff and use the running QCD coupling constant. In our numerical analysis we find that the fixed cut solution with intercept one persists, hinting at a physical Odderon with intercept one and a small t-slope.

A functional RG approach for the BFKL Pomeron
Abstract: In this paper we encode the perturbative BFKL leading logarithmic resummation, relevant for the Regge limit behavior of QCD scattering amplitudes, in the IR-regulated effective action which satisfies exact functional renormalization group equations. This is obtained using a truncation with a specific infinite set of non local vertices describing the multi-Regge kinematics (MRK). The goal is to use… ▽ More

Pomeron - Odderon interactions in a reggeon field theory
Abstract: In this paper we extend our recent non perturbative functional renormalization group analysis of Reggeon Field Theory to the interactions of Pomeron and Odderon fields. We establish the existence of a fixed point and its universal properties, which exhibits a novel symmetry structure in the space of Odderon-Pomeron interactions. On the energy spectrum of the electroweak Pomeron
Abstract: In this paper we study the high energy behaviour of Electroweak Standard Model for a nonzero Weinberg angle $θ_{W}$. We evaluate the spectrum of the electroweak pomeron and demonstrate that the leading intercept is given by $α_{\rm e.w.}4 \ln 2$ and does not depend on the mixing angle $θ_{W}$. Due to its very small numerical value, we conclude that the high energy behaviour of electroweak theory c… ▽ More

Could reggeon field theory be an effective theory for QCD in the Regge limit?

Generalized Bootstrap Equations and possible implications for the NLO Odderon
Abstract: We formulate and discuss generalized bootstrap equations in nonabelian gauge theories. They are shown to hold in the leading logarithmic approximation. Since their validity is related to the self-consistency of the Steinmann relations for inelastic production amplitudes they can be expected to be valid also in NLO. Specializing to the N=4 SYM, we show that the validity in NLO of these generalized… ▽ More

Quark-Antiquark Exchange in $γ^* γ^*$ Scattering
Abstract: We calculate the high energy behavior of quark-antiquark exchange in $γ^* γ^*$ elastic scattering by summing, to all orders, the leading double logarithmic contributions of the QCD ladder diagrams. Motivation comes from the LEP data for $σ_{tot}^{γ^* γ^*}$ which indicate the need for secondary reggeon exchange. We show that, for large photon virtualities, this exchange is calculable in pQCD. Thi… ▽ More

The Bootstrap Conditions for the Gluon Reggeization
Abstract: Compatibility of gluon Reggeization with s-channel unitarity requires the vertices of the Reggeon interactions to satisfy a series of bootstrap conditions. In order to derive, in the next-to-leading order (NLO), conditions related to the gluon production amplitudes, we calculate the s-channel discontinuities of these amplitudes and compare them with those required by the Reggeization. It turns o… ▽ More

QCD Saturation and Photoproduction on Proton and Nuclei Targets
Abstract: We calculate inclusive photoproduction cross-sections for both proton and nuclei targets, using a saturation model derived from an approximate solution to the Balitsky-Kovchegov nonlinear evolution equation. This paper extends our hypothesis, that one can successfully use the dipole picture and saturation models to describe soft processes, instead of the soft Pomeron Regge parametrization. Our f… ▽ More

The Process gamma* + p -> eta_c + X: A Test for the Perturbative QCD Odderon
Abstract: The rates of inclusive photo- and electroproduction of the eta_c meson: gamma* + p -> eta_c + X are calculated in the triple Regge region, integrated over the diffractive mass X. For the Regge exchanges we use the hard Pomeron and Odderon, both being calculated in the framework of perturbative QCD. The integrated cross-section depends upon the coupling of the BFKL pomeron to two $C=-1$ odderons,… ▽ More

On the Dipole Picture in the Nonforward Direction
Abstract: We calculate, for nonzero momentum transfer, the dipole formula for the high energy behaviour of elastic and quasielastic scattering of a virtual photon. We obtain an expression of the nonforward photon impact factor and of the nonforward photon wave function, and we give a physical interpretation.

The Dipole Picture and Saturation in Soft Processes
Abstract: We attempt to describe soft hadron interactions in the framework of saturation models, one based upon the Balitsky-Kovchegov non-linear equation and another one due to Golec-Biernat and Wüsthoff. For $pp$, $Kp$, and $πp$ scattering the relevant hadronic wave functions are formulated, and total, elastic cross-sections, and the forward elastic slope are calculated and compared to experimental data… ▽ More

NLO Corrections to the Photon Impact Factor: Combining Real and Virtual Corrections
Abstract: In this third part of our calculation of the QCD NLO corrections to the photon impact factor we combine our previous results for the real corrections with the singular pieces of the virtual corrections and present finite analytic expressions for the quark-antiquark-gluon intermediate state inside the photon impact factor. We begin with a list of the infrared singular pieces of the virtual correc… ▽ More
