Weak well-posedness of energy solutions to singular SDEs with supercritical distributional drift
Abstract: We study stochastic differential equations with additive noise and distributional drift on $\mathbb{T}^d$ or $\mathbb{R}^d$ and $d \geqslant 2$. We work in a scaling-supercritical regime using energy solutions and recent ideas for generators of singular stochastic partial differential equations. We mainly focus on divergence-free drift, but allow for scaling-critical non-divergence free perturbati… ▽ More

Fractional stochastic Landau-Lifshitz Navier-Stokes equations in dimension $d \geq 3$: Existence and (non-)triviality
Abstract: We investigate fractional stochastic Navier-Stokes equations in $d\ge 3$, driven by the random force $(-Δ)^{\fracθ{2}}ξ$ which, as we show, corresponds to a fractional version of the Landau-Lifshitz random force in the physics literature. We obtain the existence and uniqueness of martingale solutions on the torus $\mathbb T^d$ for $θ> \frac{d}{2}$. For $θ\le 1$ the equation is supercritical and we… ▽ More

Dimensional reduction in nonlinear filtering: A homogenization approach
Abstract: We propose a homogenized filter for multiscale signals, which allows us to reduce the dimension of the system. We prove that the nonlinear filter converges to our homogenized filter with rate $\sqrt{\varepsilon}$. This is achieved by a suitable asymptotic expansion of the dual of the Zakai equation, and by probabilistically representing the correction terms with the help of BDSDEs.

The Existence of Dominating Local Martingale Measures
Abstract: We prove that, for locally bounded processes, absence of arbitrage opportunities of the first kind is equivalent to the existence of a dominating local martingale measure. This is related to and motivated by results from the theory of filtration enlargements.
