The straightforward and ingenious way is to reduce the overall vehicle weight by selection of stronger and lighter materials or by shortening of the roll cage which also helps in greater maneuverability. This greatly impacts the driver ergonomics of seating and egress/ingress in case of emergency. The area of interest is the repeated feedback about lower back pain from the drivers of previous year teams of SAE-Baja India as well as an increased reporting of spinal fractures and dislocation in extreme off-roading scenarios; part of which is directly related to abnormal driving postures due to packaging of driver in roll cage and repeated shocks and yaw-pitch-roll induced inertial forces on the driver during harsh driving. This research is an approach to reduce these forces or dissipate them to protect the spine from injuries and shielding the driver from driving induced back pain.

The idea of this paper is to design and implement Humanoid Robotic Hand (HRH). The HRH was built by using 3D printer technology of hard Polylactide (PLA) filament. The different components of the hands were separately built and then assembled, which gives easy manufacturing at the same time great latitude to choose materials, and also built by six servo motors while five servo motors used to move the fingers and the sixth servo motor used to rotate the wrist. The designed HRH system was controlled by electromyography (EMG) signals were utilized to classify seven classes of movements in offline mode and five movements in real-time. The EMG signals were measured by using three surface electromyography (sEMG) MyoWare muscle sensors, which were located on the forearm on three muscles (Extensor Carpi Ulna, Extensor Carpi Radius and Extensor Carpi Digitorum) and use Arduino Mega microcontroller as an analogue to digital converter to take the signal from the sensor and also use data collector to control the humanoid robotic hand. The proposed pattern recognition system was investigated in an offline mode to enhance it and to develop the classification accuracy of the system by using the (Integral Absolute Value (IAV), Mean Absolute Value (MAV) , Root Mean Square (RMS), Waveform length (WL), Zero Crossing (ZC), Slope Sign Change (SSC) and Autoregressive (AR) as feature extraction , Principal Component Analysis (PCA) as feature reduction, k-Nearest Neighbor (k-NN) and Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) algorithms as classifiers. Furthermore, the effects of electrodes' position on the forearm and the number of channels on the efficiency of the pattern recognition system were investigated too. The results showed that the performance of the LDA is better than the k-NN because the accuracy of LDA is 91.1056% and the accuracy of k-NN is 87.5849% these percentages are in the offline mode and in real time mode the accuracy is 84% when using LDA algorithm.

This system is composed of a probe coupled to a dielectric resonator. It is used for two purposes: first to characterize dielectric samples with accuracy and high spatial resolution, knowing that they do not have predetermined forms but a small plane surface; and second, to draw dielectric cartographies for flat samples, with a 100 µm resolution.

The corrosion detection mechanism is based on the modification of a resonator frequency as a function of the corrosion level. An alumina substrate is covered with a metal enclosure that is protected against corrosion apart from the middle of the top face. This latter, patterned as a grid, is made of a metal sensitive to corrosion. The cracks caused by the corrosion in the grid introduce a capacitive effect and cause a frequency shift of the resonance mode (f r), and a degradation of unloaded quality factor (Q 0) as a function of the corrosion level.

The dual-band BSF has two open stubs, two embedded stubs inside the two open stubs, and one spurline in the connecting line between the two open stubs. The first stopband is around 2.0 GHz, and the second stopband is around 3.0 GHz. The first way to reduce the insertion loss of the passband between these two stopbands is to tune the spurline length. The second way is to replace the spurline with an embedded open stub. Both ways are simulated on Sonnet Suit Software. Simulations show both ways can reduce the passband insertion loss, and the second way is more effective.

Software reliability is defined as the probability with which the software will operate without any failure for a specific period of time in a specified environment. It is one the important software quality features. Software reliability, when estimated in early phases of software development life cycle, saves lot of money and time as it prevents spending huge amount of money on fixing of defects in the software after it has been deployed to the client. Software reliability prediction is very challenging in starting phases of life cycle model. Software reliability estimation has thus become an important research area as every organization aims to produce reliable software, with good quality and error or defect free software. There are many software reliability growth models that are used to assess or predict the reliability of the software. These models help in developing robust and fault tolerant systems. In the past few years many software reliability models have been proposed for assessing reliability of software but developing accurate reliability prediction models is difficult due to the recurrent or frequent changes in data in the domain of software engineering. As a result, the software reliability prediction models built on one dataset show a significant decrease in their accuracy when they are used with new data. The objective of this paper is to introduce a new approach that optimizes the accuracy of software reliability predictive models when used with raw data. Ant Colony Optimization Technique (ACOT) is proposed to predict software reliability based on data collected from literature. An ant colony system by combining with Travelling Sales Problem (TSP) algorithm has been used, which has been changed by implementing different algorithms and extra functionality, in an attempt to achieve better software reliability results with new data for software process. The intellectual behavior of the ant colony framework by means of a colony of cooperating artificial ants are resulting in very promising results. The method is validated with real dataset using Mean Time to Failure (MTTF) and Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF).

However, it has many limitations such as poor performance on large data sets, and lack of efficient and secured data sharing. In order to overcome these limitations, many organizations promote their users to store their data into databases. However, databases lack in the ease of use since they request database users to use SQL which is a standard language for querying and editing information stored in the databases. Since SQL is difficult for many end users to learn, database utilization of some parts of organizations does not progress. In order to relief users' burden of learning SQL, we propose SpreadDB which is a spreadsheet-based user interface for querying and updating database data. SpreadDB enables users to design spreadsheet templates used to perform data query and data update. We also present security measures of SpreadDB that prevent unauthorized persons from accessing and modifying database data.

The proposed EOS-ELM works as promising tool for prediction of heart disease when compared to other data mining classification techniques, namely Naïve Bayes (NB), Decision Tree (DT) and Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) and are analyzed on Cleveland Heart Disease Database (CHDD). The system designed in MATLAB software can be viewed as an alternative for existing methods to distinguish of heart disease presence.

operation of software for a specific period of time
under specified environment. Software reliability is
defined as the probability with which the software
will operate without any failure for a specific period
of time in a specified environment. It is one the
important software quality features. Software
reliability, when estimated in early phases of
software development life cycle, saves lot of money
and time as it prevents spending huge amount of
money on fixing of defects in the software after it has
been deployed to the client. Software reliability
prediction is very challenging in starting phases of
life cycle model. Software reliability estimation has
thus become an important research area as every
organization aims to produce reliable software, with
good quality and error or defect free software. There
are many software reliability growth models that are
used to assess or predict the reliability of the
software. These models help in developing robust
and fault tolerant systems.
In the past few years many software reliability
models have been proposed for assessing reliability
of software but developing accurate reliability
prediction models is difficult due to the recurrent or
frequent changes in data in the domain of software
engineering. As a result, the software reliability
prediction models built on one dataset show a
significant decrease in their accuracy when they are
used with new data. The objective of this paper is to
introduce a new approach that optimizes the accuracy
of software reliability predictive models when used
with raw data. Ant Colony Optimization Technique
(ACOT) is proposed to predict software reliability
based on data collected from literature. An ant colony
system by combining with Travelling Sales Problem
(TSP) algorithm has been used, which has been
changed by implementing different algorithms and
extra functionality, in an attempt to achieve better
software reliability results with new data for software
process.
The intellectual behavior of the ant colony
framework by means of a colony of cooperating
artificial ants are resulting in very promising results.
The method is validated with real dataset using Mean
Time to Failure (MTTF) and Mean Time Between
Failure (MTBF).
