RELIGION AS KNOWLEDGE IN HEGEL’S PHENOMENOLOGY/ HEGEL FENOMENOLOJİSİNDE BİLME OLARAK DİN , 2024

An evaluation of the place of Religion in the Phenomenology is equivalent to showing that Religion is a completion of Spirit. Religion is the self-representation of a people upon itself as the self-consciousness of Spirit, and in this sense it is fundamentally the self-representation of a community. There are many forms of this design, in other words, there are many different forms of religion, and Christianity as one of these forms, is the complet unfolding of Religion and the most mature manifestation of Spirit. Religion abolishes the distinction between the essential and the non-essential, or between the changing and the unchanging, which the Unhappy Consciousness, in in the section on Self-Consciousness of Phenomenology, has left separated. The position of consciousness in Unhappy Consciousness is precisely to intuit truth as something outside itself. In a sense, the discussions in the section on Reason and Tin in Phenomenology are an attempt to reconcile consciousness and the world, and this effort culminates in Religion. The condition of science or knowledge is this reconciliation.
Bu makalede temel amacımız Hegel'in din anlayışını, onun Fenomenolojisi üzerinden açıklamak olacaktır.

For this, we strive to explain the exteriorization, one of the most important Hegelian concept, in its relation with kenosis, a religious concept. To do this, we will use Hegel's The Phenomenology of Spirit, The Science of Logic and Lessons on the Philosophy of Religion. Especially, The Phenomenology of Spirit and Lessons on the Philospohy of Religion will be our main sources in this research. But our primary goal will be to connect the concept of exteriorization to that of kenosis. In this way it will be possible to understand the relationship between exteriorization, that's to say kenosis, and the Spirit. In general, the Kenosis has a lot of meanings; exteriorization, self-sacrifice and self-surrender... By keeping in our mind all this meanings cited, we will try to illimunate the place of kenosis in the constitution of Spirit. In fact, Hegelian Spirit must be understood in its process of becoming subject, through exteriorization. In this process we have also a selfsacrifice and self surrender. But before that, we are going to see the unhappy consciousness; a type of consciousness which is the last form of the first section of Self-Consciousness. With Unhappy Consciousness, we will be dealing with the consciousness that experiences the gap between itself and Divine truth. We will see that this consciousness turns away from the world by performing a false act of sacrifice in order to unify itself with Divine truth. On the contrary, the Spirit is itself an act of self sacrifice because it is a reciprocal self sacrifice and this reciprocal act performed by self consciousness and substance at the same time. The Spirit opens itself, exteriorizes itself to allow particulars self-consciousnesses to realise their goals, but it depends on recognition. It means that, a Hegelian metaphysics could be based on recognition, on a true self-emptying process.

For Hegel, identity can be understood first with the Concept and then with life as the immediate Idea. For this purpose, we focused on Concept, Objectivity and Idea sections in Hegel's Science of Logic. But before that, we focused on the Identity discussion in the Essence section and emphasized that identity emerges as an effort for absolute unity in the essence-appearance relationship. In this way, we have emphasized that basically identity is a matter of providing unity, and we have stated that this unity is most fully realized in the idea of life. Finally, we questioned whether the definition of Hegelian identity as the identity of identity and difference is the real Hegelian identity thesis. To do so, we have compared subject-object relation and the conception of experience in Adorno with Kant’s and Hegel’s idea of subject and experience. Apart from that, we have also strove to illuminate the historical context of Adorno’s negative dialectic in relation to Hegel’s phenomenology. As a result, Adorno’s dialectic, in a historical context, is not a system and method but an opponent attitude against the totalitarian ideology of modernism. Finally, it is possible to see Adornien philosophy very close to Kant much more than Hegel.

Two Anarchy in Agamben and Modal Ontology Abstract In this paper our main claim is that it is possible to read the Homo Sacer of Agamben around two conception of anarchy. The first is the anarchy of power and the other is the desactivation of the first. The first anarchy derives from the division in being between being and action, which itself is the reflection of the Christian theology and causes to an anarchy because of anarchical carcharacter of command; there is no foundation of command in being. Nevertheless, according to Agamben, this separation is the center of Western thought and the only possible solution to this schizophrenia is to desactivate it through a form-of-life built on modal ontology. This last one is the opportunity of real anarchy. Key Words Anarchy, Form-of-Life, Usage, Kant, Command, Modal Ontology, Aristotle.

Two Anarchy in Agamben and Modal Ontology
Abstract
In this paper our main claim is that it is possible to read the Homo Sacer of Agamben around two conception of anarchy.
