A sensitivity analysis was conducted to examine the utility of using a combined UKCAT score as a predictor variable, rather than the individual UKCAT sub-test scores. These analyses indicated that using the individual UKCAT sub-test scores had significantly higher predictive power compared to a combined score. Checks for collinearity showed no issue with using the four separate scores so this was the preferred approach. See Appendix C further details of the sensitivity analysis.
