EDUCATION September 2013 – June 2015  Registered my PhD proposal titled “Quality-Quantity Tradeoff in the Egyptian Family: High Fertility and its Relation with the Quality of Children” at the Demography and Biostatistics Department - Institute of Statistical Studies and Research – Cairo University  PhD preparatory courses from Institute of Statistical Studies and Research – Cairo University, Demography and Biostatistics department.  Received various courses related to population studies like: Measures, Concepts of Mortality, and Fertility, Population Models, Advanced Demographic analysis, Advanced topics in fertility, Advanced topics in Demography, and Population Economics. March 2013  M.Sc. degree in Statistics from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science CairoUniversity, Statistics department.  My thesis theme is related to the age at first marriage among women in Egypt which illustrates the level and trend of age at first marriage according to demographic and socio-economic characteristics and also, discussed the first marriage for women in Egypt using nuptiality tables and also, the study reveals level of differentials and determinants of age at first marriage among Egyptian ever-married women.  Grade: Very Good. Statistical tools SPSS Package  AMOS  GAMS Package  SPECTRUM  WORK EXPERIENCE July 2002 – Present Assistant Lecturer, Cairo University   I am also working at Cairo University as a member of the academic staff in the Institute of Statistical Studies and Research – Cairo University in the department of Demography and Biostatistics. I used to participate in various researches and studies besides my work as a   teaching assistant. I am responsible for building database for the Masters and PhDs taken in the institute. Also, I am responsible for building, designing and developing the department’s website http://www.topnotch-technology.com/dem August 2014 – July 2015 Co-Author, Impact of Information Technology on Family Formation  I am responsible for analysis and building working paper submitted to Economic Research Forum (ERF), titled “Impact of Information Technology on Family Formation” using their dataset ELMPS 2012. August 2014 – May 2015 Researcher, The impact of Awareness Programs and Messages on early Marriage in Egypt  I participated in project between Center of Applied Demography - Institute of Statistical Studies and Research – Cairo University and National Population Council titled (The impact of Awareness Programs and Messages on early Marriage in Egypt) under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Naguib. I participated designing a questionnaire for households as well as individuals collecting their data and its analysis, at the same time; I was responsible for building and data entry for this questionnaire for such research, ending up with preparing the final report. March 2014 – July 2014 Researcher, Role of Social Media Networks on Demographic Awareness among Youth  I participated in project for a project between Center of Applied Demography Institute of Statistical Studies and Research – Cairo University and National Population Council titled (Role of Social Media Networks on Demographic Awareness among Youth) under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Naguib. I participated designing a questionnaire for youth collecting their data and its analysis, at the same time; I was responsible for building and data collecting of the electronic version of this questionnaire for such research. September 2005 – March 2006 Statistical Researcher, Evolving Population & Development Issues Project  I participated in project between ministry of planning and UNFPA (United Nations Population Fund) called EPDI (Evolving Population & Development Issues Project) under the supervision of Dr. Magued Othman when he was the minister of Cairo Demographic Center. ), collecting Egyptian population indicators from several sources and analyzing them, at the same time, I was responsible for building the database and website for such project. July 2001 – July 2002 Senior Software developer, Allied Soft Company      I have been used as an instructor JAVA in a training center Besides I was the task manager for many projects like Distance Education ,Car Licenses,…..etc, and developing the company's website I have been used as a Software developer participating in many applications and web-sites I was a member in a Team for making the Database Entry System for underage projects for Ministry of Justice Using the Sybase Database Server and developed by Power Builder 8. I was the Team leader for a developing a module which is Connection to a database module in a Software called CONTABRA (Content Management System product) made by an English Company called NBS (Nation-wide Business Solutions) PERSONAL INFORMATION          Marital status: Married.
