I worked at LNA (National Laboratory of Astrophysics - Itajubá Brazil) from 2000 to 2004, construction and development of optical cable using 50micron fibers from the SOAR spectrograph installed in Cerro Pachon, Chile.
I researched new methods for optical polishing and composites.
Development of optical fibers for astronomical design. Construction of an IFU for the FRODO Spectrograph, Instrument commissioned by Liverpool, England to be installed in the Canary Islands.
I created my own company in 2004 - OIO (Oliveira Instrumentacão Optical), and I start to work with contract.
I wrote a chapter for a composite book.
I prototyped several optical cables and optical fiber matrices in composites.
Development of polishing fluids with composites.
I participated actively in the study for instrument WFMOS time B, development of new methodology for assembly optical fiber in arrangements using composites.
Improvement of polishing for arrangements with concave or convex polishing.
Active participation in the PFS (Prime Focus Spectrograph, SUBARU Hilo, Hawaii) project as technical manager and consultant in the specialized aera of Optical Fibers.
