Stuart Mendel

Stuart C Mendel is an impact player whose efforts give back disproportionate value by doing the job and then some. The author of over 100 funded research reports, scholarly articles, book chapters, and conference readers, Dr. Mendel has published three scholarly books on topics involving community organizations, fund raising, public private and nonprofit-first partnerships.  Dr. Mendel regularly advises community leaders, nonprofit executives and board members and has served on numerous boards and committees.  A leader and skilled operations professional, Dr. Mendel has put his skill sets to use as Board member and now Executive Director of the National Center on Nonprofit Enterprise,  and President and Past President of the Nonprofit Academic Centers Council where he also serves as its first Fellow.  Dr. Mendel is actively engaged in social enterprise and innovation by developing projects, raising funds, and creating the conditions for successful nonprofit organizations.
