Anna Katsoulaki holds a B.Sc in Shipping and Transport, a LL.B in Law and a LL.M in Maritime Law from Cardiff University.  Anna is Programme Director of the LL.M in Maritime Law that is delivered in Greece by the City University London, The City Law School. Anna is also the Module Leader of the International Trade Law module for the LL.M in International Business Law. Anna joined The City Law School in 2008. Anna teaches Tort Law, Carriage of Goods by Sea and International Trade Law.

Before joining The City Law School, Anna was an in-house legal advisor for shipping companies for 10 years, where she was dealing with various cargo claims related to bulk and bagged cargoes, sale and purchase, marine insurance and P&I matters, and marine accidents.

Anna has been organising the Maritime Law Symposia delivered by The City Law School in Greece with great success and participation. The aim of these annual Symposia is to inform and update the knowledge of legal developments in a selected area of maritime law for shipping professionals in Greece. 

Anna is a member of HAME (Hellenic Association of Maritime Economists), a Supporting Member of the London Maritime Arbitrators Association, a member of the Editorial Board of the International Transport Law Review.
