[دەستکاری]The purpose of this template is to insert a link to the corresponding New York Times On this day page on Wikicalendar articles, such as December 1. This year's On this day pages only go online a few days before the date in question and otherwise result in an error message. Instead of updating the links manually each year, editors can use the template which automatically adjusts the link based on the current date (please see here for an example).
