Congratulations to Dr Rozanna Meijboom for receiving the SINAPSE ASM 2024 prize for best talk in the section, "Clinical Applications" Image Rozanna accepting her award At the SINAPSE ASM 2024, Dr Meijboom was awarded the best talk in the clinical applications sessions for her talk ‘Peak-width skeletonised microstructural MRI changes and fatigue in multiple sclerosis’. Dr Rozanna Meijboom, a research fellow in neuroimaging, main research focuses on ‘neuroimaging biomarkers in early multiple sclerosis. (MS)' This means she explores whether we can use pictures of the brain and spinal cord to predict how MS will continue to develop over time, from the early stages of the disease. Rozanna’s work is part of the Scotland-wide FutureMS study and MS imaging team Edinburgh, and performed in close collaboration with MS clinicians.
