Media Center

Media Credentials: No credentials are needed for regular season athletic events at Cal Lutheran. However, media outlets are encouraged to call ahead to reserve working space in the press box for football. For away athletic events and postseason NCAA event credentials, please contact Sports Information at (805) 493-3153.

Photo Credentials: Photography of Cal Lutheran athletic events is encouraged and should be used for editorial purposes only. Any photographer wishing to shoot a Cal Lutheran sports event is asked to please contact Sports Information at (805) 493-3153 at least three days prior to the event.

Visiting Radio/Online Broadcasters: A dial-up phone line is available at CLU basketball and football games for visiting radio. Broadcasters are requested to call back to their station via a credit or calling card. Online broadcasters of basketball and football will have wireless access (802.11b) to a high speed connection. If you are planning on broadcasting a game at CLU, please contact Sports Information at (805) 493-3153 one week prior to the game.

Interview Requests: Any reporter wishing to conduct an interview with a CLU student-athlete, coach, or staff member is asked to arrange the interview through the Sports Information Office by calling (805) 493-3153. For post-game interviews, reporters are encouraged to ask a Sports Information staff member to aid in facilitation. The NCAA provides for a 10-minute cooling off period after contests and cooperation is appreciated.

Media Services: Media members covering an on-campus CLU athletic event will have access to a phone, fax, and copy machine, as well as a high speed internet connection in the Sports Information Office (Office 230 in the Gilbert Sports and Fitness Center, Suite 222A). Rosters, schedules, statistics, two-deeps, and game programs will be available prior to contests. Halftime and final statistical packages will be provided at basketball and football games. Food and drinks are provided to media members at football games.
