This article discusses the effects of sources and editorial strategies in cultural journals. More than ever before, the Janus figure, so conventional and recurrent when it came to Mussolini, was unavoidable.

At the MRAP in the 70s, reflections on antisemitism. Insights on Droit et Liberté
In the history of French anti-racism, the 1970s often appear as a turning point. The fight against anti-Semitism was subsumed into a more general struggle against racism. This is precisely what this article would like to explore, as close as possible to the sources, by reading the MRAP monthly Droit et Liberté. The fight against anti-Semitism, while changing in nature, did not weaken, but it revealed a change of era and of sociology among anti-racist activists.
Starting from Braudel’s description of the Mediterranean as a “movement-space” whose unity stems from mobility, this article proposes to study the posterity of this ap- proach in scientific literature on migrations in the contemporary era, through the con- cepts of migratory space and system. We examine how studies on the Mediterranean, taken here as a whole, have intersected with scholarly outputs on migrations, and vice versa. There appears to be a problem of scale: some of the migrations or migrants referred to as “Mediterranean” do not always deserve this appellation, which appears as too global.
