The texts show that family pilgrimages, of children with their parents, of sons with their fathers or of daughters with their mothers, are not just a contemporary phenomenon.

Churches, chapels and altars dedicated to the apostle should have a relic of the apostle, often a contact relic. As a consequence of the spread of the story of Charlemagne's discovery of the apostolic tomb (Codex Calixtinus, book V), several churches claimed to possess either the entire body or the skull of Zebedee's son. These relics aroused a temporary interest, manifested by local pilgrimages and processions, but never supplanted the shrine of Compostella.

Palabras clave: Proselitismo, conversión forzada, las tres religiones ABSTRACT: Christians, Jews, and Muslims lived on the Iberian Peninsula for centuries. The theme of a happy coexistence or, on the contrary, of violent relations between communities has been and continues to be the subject of multiple studies. There were in the Muslim and Christian governments moments of proselytism, sincere conversions, forced baptisms, and persecutions. With the expulsion of the Jews in 1492 and in 1502 with the edict that forced all the Moors of the kingdoms, including that of Granada, to receive baptism, a long history of coexistence of Jews, Christians, and Muslims in Spain was closed. Throughout that history, in general, the proselytizing advocated by the texts of each religion was not put into practice. Where there was coexistence, fear of the neighbour, of contamination, of his proselytizing prevailed.
