MDi art by bunnycartoon

I make videos.
I play video games. I enjoy everything that Cammy White does. Any questions?

  1. I am a teacher with over 10 years of education experience who has worked with nearly every age group from 1 year old up to 18 years old.

  2. I was diagnosed with autism after I graduated high school.

  3. I have lived in three different states.

  4. Although I have done video production work for over 20 years, it's almost entirely a hobby. The closest video work I have done that could be considered "professional" is cosplay highlight reels from a few A-Kon's I volunteered at.

  5. I go by he/they, mainly because gender is a construct, and I don't believe that anyone's interests, personalities, or philosophies should be limited strictly to their birth gender. Also, I realize that the whole "zomg you're a male teacher AMAZING" or "kids listen to you cause you're a male" thing used to make me feel proud. Now I just side eye those remarks cause again, the gender you were born with has NOTHING to do with what kind of person you want to be.

#11: If you had a mascot to represent you, what would it be?

....I do have a mascot. Their name is MDi. Before MDi, I had been known as Nitro online. But Nitro is such a 2000s alias. And half of the responses to the Nitro name was "lol like WCW Monday Nitro amIrite?" It's not. Then the more I got to introduce M Disk Playlist, more people were calling me M Disk and not Nitro. Flattering but nah. So with bunnycartoon's help (and art, she did al the MDi art too), I came up with MDi as my official mascot/persona/pngtuber/whateveryouwannacall it.

#12: What skill do you want to improve on the most?

Communicating and video production. I mean, I'd like to think that my video editing skills are....well, not amateur. But I am always on the look out for opportunities to improve on my video editing. That's mainly why I make new splash intros every year, just to keep me on my toes, and to see if there is anything I could do now that I couldn't do before.

Communicating has always been an issue for me. I got into education JUST so I could learn how to be a better/more confident communicator. I am definitely better than I was five or ten years ago at this time. I used to HATE hearing myself speak in videos. But the more Gauntlet episodes I did, the more I embraced the idea of hearing my voice.
