In the context of the organization and promoting leisure activities exist in Portugal, a non-profit association, recognized as environmental nongovernmental organization which already has 29 years of activity: the Clube de Atividades de Ar Livre (CAAL)/Outdoor Activities Club. From the registry available on the webpage of the CAAL, it was possible to collect, process and analyze a set of information about the activities carried out by such variables as the number, temporal distribution, typology, and the spatial distribution of the initiatives implemented by this Club in Portugal and abroad.

O mercado crescente do ecoturismo, resulta de uma mudança de paradigma, com importantes transform... more O mercado crescente do ecoturismo, resulta de uma mudança de paradigma, com importantes transformações do perfil do turista, que seleciona o seu destino de férias com base em critérios e motivações ambientais e sociais. Face a esta crescente procura, são várias as empresas que têm visto este segmento turístico como uma oportunidade de negócio. Partindo desse pressuposto e da análise exploratória apresentada por Cordeiro, Alves e Carvalho (2015), feita aos agentes de animação turística em Portugal, procuraremos, neste artigo, aprofundar o conhecimento sobre o mercado de oferta deste segmento, através da análise dos resultados obtidos pelo inquérito aplicado. Além de outros dados relevantes, do universo das 28 empresas, 17 participaram no inquérito, sendo que destas 94,1% afirmam vender o segmento ecoturismo validando, de certa forma, o levantamento considerado no estudo acima mencionado. Face a esta crescente procura, são várias as empresas que têm visto este segmento turístico como uma oportunidade de negócio. Partindo desse pressuposto e da análise exploratória apresentada por Cordeiro, Alves e Carvalho (2015), feita aos agentes de animação turística em Portugal, procuraremos, neste artigo, aprofundar o conhecimento sobre o mercado de oferta deste segmento, através da análise dos resultados obtidos pelo inquérito aplicado.
