Maite Correa
I am an Associate Professor of Applied Linguistics at Colorado State University (CSU). I hold a PhD in Applied Linguistics and a MA degree in Hispanic Linguistics by the University of Arizona and a B.A. in English from the Univerisy of Deusto (Spain).
I usually teach Language Teaching Methodology (LGEN516), Research Methods (LGEN510), History of the Spanish Language (LSPA536), Introduction to Spanish Linguistics (LSPA312), and Spanish Phonetics and Phonology (LSPA326). I have published on critical pedagogy, metalinguistic awareness, heritage language learning, educational linguistics, forensic linguistics and academic integrity. Other research interests include psycholinguistics, instructional technology, and educational linguistics.
