Klos comes from Paeonia and Mount Rhodope: it cuts in half Mount Haemus and discharges into the same river. Angrus flows from Illyria to the north, passes the Tribal Grasslands and discharges in the Brongus, and the latter, into the Ister; so that the Ister simultaneously receives water from two large rivers. Karpis and Alpis leave the country north of Obrich, flow to the north and enter the same river... The Ister leaves the country of Celts and, after it crosses the whole of Europe, enters Scythia through one side." |
