Template edit request (5 August 2024)

In this template, "Attribution-Share Alike" is duplicated, so it reads "This file is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike Attribution-Share Alike 4.0 International..." I suggest removing one of them, so it would then read "This file is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 4.0 International..." Also, I believe the word "license" at the end of the sentence should be pluralized to "licenses". -Waterard water?(talk | contribs) 01:36, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This was already fixed by @Amire80 months ago; the only reason we still see the duplicated text here is that we have a local message override for MediaWiki:Wm-license-cc-by-sa-4.0-3.0-2.5-2.0-1.0-text. But as far as I can tell, that’s not needed anymore – @Multichill, want to delete it? (Regarding “license” vs. “licenses”, I disagree that it should be changed – other templates in Category:Multi-license license tags also seem to say “license”.) ✓ Done deleted the local message to make the default text visible. Multichill (talk) 16:33, 12 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
