However, it is the duty of teachersto remove such an anxiety of the students at the very early Stage of second language learning through introducinga earless language classroom and make the availability of receiving the sufficient input in the particular language. The present study highlights the problem of affective filter, especially anxiety, which affects the carning of English as a second language m Kerala settings. Need and Significance of the Study According to Stephen D Krashen (1981), there are five basic hypotheses related to acquisition. They are acquisition-learning, natural order, monitor, input, and affective filter. Affective filter is only for acquisition/learning, it does not happen while the native language is acquired. Krashen has defined an affective filter as a mental block that prevents learners from the corect comprehension of the input that they receive for language acquisition. In the process of acquisition of second language, it affects some variables like low motivation, low self-esteem, and debilitating anxiety; these variables are incorporated by Krashen in his affective fiter hypothesis. Affective factors that will directly influence the second language acquisition rather than learning. Krashen (1982), pointed out that Affective Filter Hypothesis can help to explain why a

Therefore, the investigator adopted a normative survey method to collect the data for this study of Pre-service teachers' problems at the time of virtual Internships in Kasaragod district. Virtual internships are online practical teaching sessions were teachers transmits complex professional skills by working collaboratively using the support of computer and internet (Oner, 2020). The pedagogical structuring of the content in a virtual internship is done through TPACK framework mostly (Vijayan & Joshith, 2018). Virtual internship has significantly decreased the professional anxiety of Pre-Service teachers in blended learning environment (H. Theelen et al., 2020). So, using the normative survey method, the investigator gathered information regarding Pre-service teacher's problems during the virtual Internships. In this study, all the pre-service teachers studying in the Bachelor of Education Programme in Kasaragod have been taken as the population for the study. Two hundred forty pre-service teachers were selected as the sample of the study through simple Random sampling method. The investigator prepared the tool to measure the problems of pedagogical aspects and technical issues confronted during the virtual internship. The findings of the study were: 40 (16.7%) of the sample have low level, 160 (66.7%) of the sample have moderate level and 40 (16.7%) of sample have a high level of intricacies that they are subjected to confront during virtual Internship. The pre-service students faced pedagogical challenges during the virtual internship. Similarly, most of the pre-service teachers faced technical issues during the virtual internship.

Purpose
This research lies in the domain of Vedic mathematics, and it explores the application of the related Vedic sutras in different branches of mathematics, science, education, and engineering across Asia and Europe.
Design/methodology/approach
The study embraced a qualitative research design followed by a systematic literature review (SLR) approach which describes the significance of Vedic mathematics. The study made use of purposive sampling through which the data were collected from 102 articles by using inclusion and exclusion criteria. It includes publication years, the types of research methods, and uses of Vedic mathematics sutras in different branches of knowledge stated by the researchers. Its goal is to offer a more thorough explanation and an evaluation of how the inquiry affected the conclusions. The articles examined in this review included all the journal articles and doctoral theses from the databases of Google Scholar, Science Direct, Scopus, and Sodhganga which were published during the period 2010–2022.
Findings
The research found that the application of the sutras of Vedic mathematics has been increasing immensely in India. The researchers in this area are fond of qualitative research methods. This research has shown that sutras of Vedic mathematics especially “Urdhvatiryakbhyam” and “Nikhilam Navatascaramana Dasastah” have been frequently used in mathematics and engineering in technical higher education. The impact of other sutras has been quite useful, which augments that in many disciplines where the applications of Vedic mathematics are prevalent, it can be functional. The study concludes by reprising the result, its limitations, and the use of Vedic mathematics as a sustainable source of knowledge.
Research limitations/implications
Vedic mathematics is an area where a lot of potential applications are created in science, mathematics, engineering, and education. Even with the latest technological advancements like learning analytics, artificial intelligence has its connection with this branch of learning, which is the greatest treasure of the Indian knowledge system. The research in this area is not reported in any databases or any standard format so researchers find it difficult to locate and study this broad conceptual domain.
Practical implications
It will help the reader and other academic stakeholders to widen their view on the new and innovative techniques of Vedic mathematics. It is advised that additional studies would look at and evaluate papers published after this time so that readers may get a wider view of the concept of Vedic mathematics.
Social implications
It will help society to know the essence of Vedic mathematics that how useful it is. Vedic mathematics helps learners to learn in a very factual and accurate manner especially while dealing with mathematical calculations. It will enhance the problem-solving skills among learners. It will be beneficial for all types of learners which will help them to become better individuals for a nation.
Originality/value
The paper enriches understanding of the potential applications of different sutras from Vedic literature in different fields of knowledge. The outcome of the research encourages educationists and policymakers to include Vedic mathematics in the curriculum to foster quantitative reasoning and problem-solving at varied levels of learning.
education is sometimes very tenuous. Technological pedagogical content knowledge integrates content, pedagogy,
and technology knowledge that strengthens the teaching-learning process and enables teachers to use educational
technology in constructive ways to teach content. Web 2.O is a powerful tool that allows users to interact and
collaborate with one another as content creators in a virtual community. It also facilitates a way for students to apply
their knowledge by using diversified tools like wikis, blogs, social networking sites such as Facebook and Instagram,
RSS reader, video sharing sites, like YouTube. The study focuses on the integration of Web 2.O technologies into the
teaching of science that rejuvenates techno-pedagogical practices. It documents features of various Web 2.O tools and
how they can be utilised in the context of science classrooms to support teaching and learning and also explores the
benefits, strategies and approaches to effectively integrate Web 2.O tools into science classroom instruction regardless
of different content areas in science or age of learners. The study concludes that teachers should provide opportunities
for students to use Web 2.O tools in their science learning process.
