Zygmunt Bauman (født 19. november 1925 i Poznań, Polen, død 9. januar 2017 i Leeds, England)[2] var en polsk sociolog, bosiddende i Leeds, England.

I 1992 modtog Bauman den europæiske Amalfipris for sociologi og samfundsvidenskab, og i 1998 modtog han Adorno-prisen.
