The discovery of natural resource in Warri Metropolis and the presence of oil companies improved socioeconomic activities in the region. This enhanced socioeconomic standard of living of the people of Warri and Delta State in general. Never the less, these benefits are short lived with the relocation of oil companies. Relocation was subject to incessant activities of youth militias (hostility) and ethnic rivalry. The region now experiences retrogression in an erstwhile booming economy. This heightened the level of poverty, tension, psychological trauma and criminality in the region. Although several researches have evaluated the benefits and effects of oil companies in the region, none have documented the socioeconomic , psychological and health implications of relocation of oil companies from Warri and its environs. Thus, this study highlighted the socioeconomic , psychological and health implications of oil companies' relocation from Warri and its environs. The functionalist, social action, strain and conflict theory was used in the explanation of core variables. Data collection was triangulated with the use of in-depth interview, key informant and questionnaire. Data was analyzed using chi square and cross tabulations. Finding revealed that, frequent inter/intra communal crises and hostility arising from multiple demands of youth militias popularly known as "deve boys" were major cause for the relocation of oil companies from Warri. This relocation has increased hardships, trauma and level of criminality such as robbery, rape, cybercrime popularly known as yahoo, "gang starism" and harlotry. The study concludes that the presence of oil companies if well managed was more of a blessing than a curse. It therefore recommends that measures be put in place for reinjection of multinational companies into the region to revamp the socioeconomic activities and better the socioeconomic and health conditions of the people in the region.

The researcher decided to carry out this research because women have seldom been discriminated against. Many training opportunities as well as career ladder have been either close to women or considerably less open to women than men. In Nigeria, it is believed that women s place is in the kitchen and therefore they need not be educated. It is a general belief that the female always survive without formal education. The only hope for the male child is to be educated. If this problem of discrimination is eradicated, it would help women appreciate their values so that they would not be discriminated against in their day-today life, and illiteracy too would be eradicated.

Primary and secondary education systems in the country constitute two important aspects of the journal statutory system of public education. For decades, they have been administered by different sets of managers, the missionaries, the colonial government, the regional governments and from the late 1970s, the nation's constitution places education on the concurrent legislature list. Hence, educational administrators and curriculum developers required curriculum. The Nigeria education industry is dynamic and laws must continue to read out backing it so as to guarantee its philosophies. Educational administrators and curriculum developers require a set of rules and regulations needed to guide both actions and inactions of educational actors for effective implementation of life wire of the schools called "Curriculum". This paper investigates the developments of education laws in Nigeria since 1914; when Lord Lugard amalgamated the Lagos colony, Southern and Northern protectorates and examined the implications of these laws on curriculum developments across the country.
