I am a software security engineer, applied cryptographer and mathematician. I am interested in how we achieve secure communication and the mathematics that underlies this. I am also interested in the security of our endpoint devices and the interaction with hardware. Most recently, my focus has been on the security of embedded systems and performing professional code reviews for cryptographic implementations.

I am also a Mathematician. I obtained my degree from the Open University. I have a particular interest in Algebraic Number Theory, the theory of Elliptic Curves with Complex Multiplication, Algebraic Geometry. My course has also covered Quantum Mechanics and Mathematical Logic.

I am a member of the IACR, the Swiss Mathematical Society and the London Mathematical Society at the associate level.

I live in Switzerland, and am from the United Kingdom originally. I have been passionate about languages for a long time. I speak English, French and some German (including a little Swiss German). I am also learning a little Italian here and there (Switzerland, after all).
